Armed Wisconsin agents bust into animal shelter to kill baby deer

• Rawstory

Armed agents with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources raided an animal shelter on the Kenosha-Illinois border and killed a fawn two weeks ago, according to WISN-TV.

The Society of St. Francis told the TV station that nine DNR agents and four deputy sheriffs, who were “armed to the teeth,” corralled the shelter’s employees and then searched for the baby deer.

“I was thinking in my mind they were going to take the deer and take it to a wildlife shelter, and here they come carrying the baby deer over their shoulder. She was in a body bag,” shelter worker Ray Schulze said. “I said, ‘Why did you do that?’ He said, ‘That’s our policy,’

Be glad that it was only the fawn. A Florida guy wasn't so lucky. And Florida won't even investigate it. See:

Stop opposing the hunters in Wisconsin and Illinois. Rather, arm yourselves to the teeth, and get with your neighbors to do the same. Next year they might be coming for you.
