Hello fellow liberty-lovers!
I'm Rob Hinojosa, a liberty activist and entrepreneur from San Antonio, Texas. In August of 2012 I started Revolution Car Badges with $26, Photoshop, Wordpress, and a dream to take an idea from concept to customer. The only problem was that I had no money and no product! I had to convince some of you to trust me and to pre-order a car badge that didn't yet exist, a hard pitch coming from a complete stranger on an online forum known as the Daily Paul.
In true community fashion, y'all rose to the occasion and started buying them; after all, it was a great idea and it was only $15! ;) I needed to pre-sell 133 units to raise enough money for the first production run, and I was still far from my goal. In came, Tyler Groce, a complete stranger also from the Daily Paul. He offered to give me the money to get started! Now, Tyler and I are business partners and great friends!
When the REVOLUTION car badges arrived in December 2012, we sold out in a couple days thanks to Tom Woods plugging them on his blog and on his Facebook page! Since then, we've been able to add on the Don't Tread On Me Snake, Peace Sign, and the brand new Stand With Rand chrome car emblems.
Our business model is to donate at least 10% of our profits, though sometimes we get a little out-of-hand giving money away to great causes! We wanted to take this time to sincerely thank you for believing in this project. Because of you, we've been able to donate over $1,600 to other liberty projects! In an effort to remain transparent and also to encourage others to give to causes they believe in, here's a list of the contributions we've made:
Jeremy Blosser & Liberty Delegates Attending RNC Meetings to Fight Power Grab - $550
The Daily Paul - $351.30
The Center for Natural Living - $200
The Peaceful Streets Project - $175
Traces of Reality - $100
Peacekeepers, LLC - $75
Ben Swann's Truth in Media - $75
Miscellaneous Daily Paulers' Projects - $70
David Andrew Gay for Syracuse Common Council - $25
In addition to these donations, Revolution Car Badges has helped raise an additional $1,400 to fight the RNC power-grab! The money went directly towards travel and lodging expenses for several Liberty Delegates to attend the Winter, Spring, and Summer Republican National Committee meetings to lobby and advocate for fixing the damage done to the grassroots in Tampa, FL at the Republican Convention last year.
We couldn't have done this without everyone's support! Please pat yourselves on the back!
Not only has Revolution Car Badges helped raise money for good causes, we've also expanded our product line! Check out our new liberty car badges below! Your continued support will help us keep donating to worthy causes. If you're not in the market for some liberty bling for your rides, please consider sharing our website and Facebook page with all your other liberty friends.
Together, we really can do great things!
