I love how these so called denials of service by the Government are being met with random acts of volunteerism. From people busting through gates to re-open the memorial for vets, to wealthy casino owners offering to pay for the family members of fallen soldiers to be flown to the air base where the body needs to be received.

This to me proves that these tax funded services would continue to be funded, but only by the people who it means the most to. I certainly don't have a vested interest in paying for most of these services, but others do, and the volunteerism spirit of humans is making the Government seem irrelevant.
