Compared to the clunky VCR-like design of the Xbox One, darkuncle's Xbox One laptop sports a much slimmer design: 2-inches thick versus the 3.1-inches (and that's including the 22-inch). All of the ports are retained, and the awkward USB port located on the side of Xbox One is now conveniently located on the front of the laptop for quick access. There's a giant circular fan on top, but there's no telling how well this new chassis handles heating.
As for "upgrades," the Xbox One laptop does have one thing regular Xbox One consoles don't: line out for audio. The port lets you plug in the Xbox One laptop to any external sound system that doesn't take digital or optical out.
