There is a sad truth that all Americans have been constantly reminded of over the last few years. Our justice system is not always fair.
I don't mean in a way that is based on racial differences (though that case can be made), or in a way that judges some obviously trite crimes more harshly than their more serious counterparts (though that case can also be made).
I mean that in a very basic and impractical way, there is a certain class of people that simply get to live as if they are above the law.
Who are these fortunate few? Why, the political and cultural elite, of course.
The greatest proof of this ugly imbalance in our justice system is the woman who would be President, Hillary Clinton.
Mrs. Clinton (and the other members of her family and her staff) has been implicated in too many crimes to count, and yet she has never been truly investigated for these wrongdoings.
In fact, there is even real, hard evidence for some of her bad acts… but no one seems to care to connect them together.
Actually, Peter Schweizer, in his recent book Clinton Cash did connect the dots… and the leftwing media decided to ignore him (or worse to attack him).
It's about this sad state of affairs that former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, was speaking when he appeared on Fox News over the weekend and said something that is as true as it is sad.
