Already the family have visited Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, California and Baja in Mexico in past nine months

An American family of five has swapped their typical suburban life for heading out on the open road and living in a vintage Airstream trailer.

Mary and Alex Herlocker, from Charleston, South Carolina, live in the 27ft-long trailer with their three children Georgi, eight, Margo, four, two-year-old Jasper, as well as their two dogs.
