Down the dugout steps, down a long tunnel that leads to the visitors clubhouse inside Dodger Stadium, the Red Sox began their party.
Alex Cora got in the middle of the locker room to thank his players, and it wasn't long before his speech was overflowed with champagne. They sang in unison again to "New York, New York," an inspiration to this magical run, and Tupac's "California Love" blared to bookend the journey.
Chris Sale then led a group of his teammates out of the clubhouse, down a hallway into a kitchen, where the Red Sox lit victory cigars and danced the night away.
Together, they soaked it all in in the privacy of their own company, one of the greatest baseball teams to ever play.
The Red Sox, once again, are World Series champions.
