A huge alligator broke into a home in Clearwater, Florida, in the middle of last night and apparently went straight for the wine.
City officials said the 11-foot reptile smashed its way through a low window and left a path of destruction in the Eagles Landing home.
The homeowner told FOX 13 she woke up to noises in her kitchen at around 3am and found the unexpected invader in her kitchen.
The alligator smashed her stash of wine bottles, destroyed the kitchen table and damaged the walls.
Incredible images shared by the city on social media show the gigantic gator inside the house, taking up most of the kitchen's floor space.
In one photo, the gator's jaw is open, flashing its sharp teeth.
In another, the beast is poking its head out of the broken ground-level window through which it apparently invaded.
One picture shows the alligator outside with its head taped after Clearwater police and an animal trapper safely captured it early Friday morning.
