When folks finally find out that it isn't worth it:
- Social Security is failing;
- Medical insurance and the medical are often worse than the medical problem itself;
- identity hassles;
- etc.;
they will start doing things like:
- cancelling their SS account for fraud and misuse;
- replacing their SS# with a TIN on a corporation that has a name exactly like their own;
- And never using the TIN except when absolutely necessary.

The same thing happened to my daughter in Ga. this past summer. It was a nightmare for her.
