• The Future of Freedom
I’m just speculating, of course, but is it possible that InfraGard will be a domestic police and spying arm for the government concerning “thought crime”?

This is nothing new.

The FBI is prohibited from maintaining dosiers on U.S. citizens unless they are suspected of a crime, nor can they gather general intel on U.S. citizens without same authorization. But PRIVATE entities can!! Thus, the FBI has a long history of providing stipend funds to private groups to conduct surveilence and maintain files on people the FBI is not allowed to. These groups then share this information with the FBI. Since the earliest days of the internet, this has been happening.
