Dr. Kerry Chant, the chief health officer of New South Wales (NSW) gave a press conference telling Australians that they shouldn't "engage in conversation with each other," even if they're wearing masks, in order to reduce the transmission of COVID after NSW was locked down again for just a handful of new cases. Australian MP Frank Pangallo said that activities by unvaccinated people "will need to be controlled and restricted" and called on the Australian government to make mandatory for access to "hospitality venues, public places, workplaces, and for travel. In other words, those who refuse to take the vaccine should remain under de facto lockdown indefinitely. Despite only 13% of the Australian population having been vaccinated so far, Pangallo said 'vaxports' were a necessity in order "to prevent the entire country going into lockdown." –G Edward Griffin

Dr. Kerry Chant made the remarks in response to people in NSW being ordered to comply with yet another lockdown triggered by just a handful of new cases, which included a man in Cootamundra who visited a Woolworths supermarket, Pizza Hut restaurant, petrol station and Officeworks store.
