Dr. Marty Makary, a medical expert and professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, says COVID deaths are greatly inflated. He gave an example of an asymptomatic child who tests positive after being injured in a bicycle accident and counted as a COVID hospitalization. The CDC does not distinguish whether a child is hospitalized for Covid or with Covid.
While the CDC claims 335 children under the age of 18 have died with a COVID diagnosis, the agency, which has 21,000 employees, has not checked to verify whether the death was caused by COVID or some other condition. Makary also criticized the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System that records vaccine injuries, which he says likely underreports adverse events. He says the agency seems completely disinterested in discovering natural-immunity rates. -GEG
