US high school graduate turned Al Qaeda courier becomes first Gitmo prisoner to --

Majid Khan, 41, was arrested in Pakistan in March 2003 and in 2006 was transferred to Guantanamo Bay

Born in Saudi Arabia, raised in Pakistan, he moved with his family to Baltimore when he was 16 and joined al-Qaeda after the September 11 attacks

Khan began cooperating with U.S. officials shortly after his arrest, but was tortured for years in extreme ways

He was force fed and watered anally and a CIA agent even used a plunger to get food through a nasal tube into his stomach

Khan was chained, beaten, and sleep deprived even while handing over information to his captors

He will be sentence on Friday but, unbeknown to the jury, could be released as soon as next year owing to a plea deal
