White House Plumbers trailer shows Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux...

The Watergate break-in and the controversy that surrounded it will be told from an all new perspective in the new trailer for the HBO series White House Plumbers.

HBO released a final trailer for the series on Thursday, which also revealed the five-episode series will debut on Monday, May 1 at 9 PM ET.

The series stars Woody Harrelson - who hosted Saturday Night Live late last month - as E. Howard Hunt and Justin Theroux as G. Gordon Liddy, the political saboteurs responsible for the Watergate break-in and ultimately the resignation of President Richard Nixon.

The series is adapted from the 2007 book Integrity by Egil Krogh and Matthew Krogh by creators Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck (Veep, What Men Want).

Both Harrelson and Theroux serve as executive producers on the series alongside David Mandel, who directed all five episodes, along with Frank Rich, David Bernad, Gregg Fienberg, Len Amato, and Ruben Fleischer.

The trailer begins with a napping Howard being woken up by his wife Dorothy (Lena Headey), telling him the phone call for him is from the White House.

On the other line is Egil Krogh (Rich Sommer) - who was the head of the White House's Special Investigations Unit that tracked down leaks to the press from within the Nixon administration... with his operatives known as 'Plumbers' for stopping leaks.

Krogh tells him, 'Howard, the President asked for a real son of a b***h to handle this Pentagon leak,' referring to the infamous Pentagon Papers.
