More About: Immigration

President Barack Obama scratched his head.  Congress shook its collective cranium. The media, always chastising the American public as to its ‘racist’ treatment of illegal aliens living and working inside America—shuddered under the latest Washington-based PEW report: 73 percent of Americans support Arizona’s anti-illegal alien bill—SB 1070.

The bill mirrors federal laws and allows law enforcement in Arizona to arrest, detain and turn over to Immigration, Customs and Enforcement officers the estimated 460,000 illegal aliens living in Arizona.  An illegal must be caught for a lawless infraction before he or she can be pulled over.  Additionally, the law pursues employers with strong consequences of fines and jail time.

As pro-illegal alien supporters march in the street demanding amnesty—more and more Americans react in opposition.  Americans want their borders secured.

For 30 years, five presidents and every U.S. Congress in session failed to enforce laws on the books. As a result, 20 million illegal aliens wander around the United States with forged, stolen or phony IDs and Social Security cards.  They work, live and operate in the shadows.  They remain outside the American mainstream.

But, they tap into $346 billion annually in American taxpayer benefits across 15 federal agencies:  ‘free’ education for their children K-12, ‘free’ breakfast and lunch programs K-12, ‘free’ English as a second language instruction, ‘free’ prenatal care and birth costs for over 400,000 pregnant illegal alien mothers annually, ‘free’ assisted housing, ‘free’ food and housing for over 350,000 illegal criminal aliens residing in U.S. prisons.

While the media waxes emotionally about all of the illegals coming to America for a “better life”, the American people grow angrier as 20 million of them arrived ILLEGALLY.   They jumped the line in front of millions that wait legally to attempt to immigrate into America legally.  The illegals break the mores of this society’s foundation: the rule of law.

“Strikingly, nearly half of the democrats polled liked the law, under which local law enforcement officers are tasked with verifying peoples’ immigration status if they suspect them of being in the country illegally,” said Margaret Talev, reporter for McClatchy newspapers.  “While the Democratic Party is regarded as more sympathetic to the plight of illegal immigrants, 49 percent said they would favor the law’s passage in their own states.”

That study shows the resentment sweeping across the nation as illegals usurp jobs, overwhelm schools, bankrupt hospitals and degrade wages for America’s middle class and minorities that suffer the most.

“In addition,” said Talev, “69 percent of Americans said they wouldn’t mind if police officers stopped them to ask for proof of citizenship or legal right to be in the country.”

The poll results show that Congress will not be able to pass an amnesty without a growing uproar over legalizing those that arrived illegally. It violates Americans’ basic understanding of the rule of law.  The biggest organization in the nation to stop massive illegal and legal immigration, with Roy Beck, enjoys over 1.0 million members and some days, they add 7,000 to 9,000 members as the issue heats up in Congress.  During the June 2007 amnesty attempt, Beck’s members melted the phone lines with over 1.5 million phone calls and over 2.0 million faxes within five days.  The bill suffered defeat.

Another aspect of the illegal alien migration question: Tea Party phenomenon.  Angry voters expect to vote out incumbents because they tire of ‘career’ politicians that do nothing year after year, decade after decade, i.e., U.S. Senators Chuck Schumer, Robert Byrd, John McCain, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Jon Kyle, Arlen Specter, Carl Levin—all of them ineffective, out of touch with the American people and dead wood.

After decades of abuse, non-compliance and disregard of border security—Americans expect to show their voting power in November by throwing the rascals out.

Yes, as long as the U.S.-Mexico border is undirectional and the totally corrupt Mexican govt. is alive and well on the other side, self-defensive reflexes will come into play. Too bad, until that govt. is completely dissolved there can never be a peaceful solution that doesn't bleed the U.S. dry. The only way is for the president to lead a bipartisan Congress in inviting the Mexican people to fire spit-in-your-face Calderon along with his whole govt. in exchange for phased-in U.S. citizenship and organization of several new U.S. states, a fair trade that gives the U.S. 760K more sq. mi. of territory and 5.8K mi. of new coastline to turn into a New Calif., New Ariz., New Texas, and New Fla., defusing the ticking time bomb in Mexico and allowing all 414 million Americans to finally accept each other's existence and chase the Great American Dream together, as Americans, under a 60-star U.S. flag. Study the 7-step Megamerge Dissolution Solution to see how it can be done at

Lo Tekjunky are you always going to see the world thru rose colored glass's ?  President Felipe Calderon of Mexico, the largest contributor of illegal aliens now living and working in America in the vicinity of 12 to 15 million, threw several nasty verbal rocks at Arizona for passing SB 1070.  His illegal Mexican citizens residing in the United States contribute $24 billion back to his financial coffers annually in cash transfers.  At the same time, their lawlessness costs American taxpayers $346 billion yearly across 15 U.S. federal agencies. But I shouldn,t have to point this out on a continual bases

I don't understand how people can keep hating on the "illegals". If you are a freedom loving individual, and I bet you are if you are visiting this website... how can you proclaim special rights for the people that got to America first? Do you think gay people deserve special rights? What about Christians? Muslims?  High school football players? Probably not.  Equal rights are equal rights... that means FOR EVERYONE. Just because someone got here earlier, and some dead people 250 years ago signed a contract theoretically creating a country doesn't give anyone special rights.

It's sad that some people care more about the rights of those in this country ILLEGALLY than they do for our citizens. If the immigration laws need to be changed to fix this problem then let's concentrate on that. We may need to know who is in our country, you think?. How many Terrorist, Rapist, Murderers and other habitual criminals do we want to allow into our country? Or is that just 'too politically incorrect' an idea to entertain?

Since when is the "overwhelming majority" indicative of anything other than mob rule, AKA democracy? The overwhelming majority feel McDonalds is a high quality meal. The overwhelming majority don't care about freedom or liberty. The overwhelming majority were against the American revolution. If 73% of the population has critical thinking skills, and read the bill, I would guess only the jackbooted statists would support fully support it.
