Do you like what you see happening to the United States? Do you love that toxic blanket of air pollution covering our cities? Do you love our gridlocked cities? How about the cost of gas? Price of food rising? Are you thrilled with our medical costs? Bursting prisons? Financial meltdown? Do you feel the loss of a sense of America with competing languages and incompatible cultures injected into our society—at Warp Speed?
Anyone drive through Los Angeles lately? How about Chicago? What about Denver, Dallas or Houston? Ever got stuck in New York City or San Francisco in rush hour traffic? Have you noticed ‘rush hour’ means all day these days?
Have you noticed it’s gone from uncomfortable to more than a little bit crazy? What about your ‘quality of life’?
In an eye-opening expose’ of our accelerating dilemma, Kimberly Trone wrote, “Southern California Region Flunks”—all Americans face a challenging future. (Source: www.popco.org)
Let’s examine California’s present and future as it pertains to all our large American cities:
“Inland residents are experiencing increased delays in traffic and a decline in our quality of life,” Trone said. “Travelers in Riverside are spending about 55 hours a year stuck in traffic, a 70 percent increase from 1990 and the ninth highest among the nation’s metropolitan regions. Commuters in Los Angeles and Orange counties topped the nation’s urban areas with an average delay of 93 hours during peak periods.”
The report estimated congestion on the region’s highways cost $ 12 billion annually.

Lake Elsinore resident Robin McAlpine who finds herself stuck in 2.5 hours of traffic on commutes five days a week, said, “Things keep getting worse.”
At this moment, Governor Schwarzenegger finds himself battling a $14 billion state debt. His annual cost for non-citizens in the state exceeds $10.2 billion of taxpayer money. His State of California finds itself in a state of paralysis, gridlocked and ‘people exhaustion’. What might that term mean?
For starters, according to www.capsweb.org, California adds 1,650 people, net gain, daily to its current population of 37.5 million. That equals 602,250 people every year! On top of that, California adds 400-500 vehicles to California daily. California expects to add 20 million people in 30 years that will give it 57.5 million. No wonder Robin McAlpine said, “Things keep getting worse.”
With ‘people exhaustion’, according to Roy Beck, director of www.numbersusa.com, California taxpayers must shell out enough money to build one new school every day in perpetuity to accommodate that population increase. Additionally, they must staff it with teachers, janitors and food personnel. Is it any wonder that California cannot succeed in educating its citizens let alone all its foreign nationals?
“Despite job growth, which was fueled in large part by a strong housing market, the financial outlook for Southern California is bleak,” Trone said. “California has the highest housing-cost burdens for owners and renters and the highest poverty rates in the country. One in five children in southern California lives below the poverty line.”
Let’s knuckle down to brass tacks fellow Americans! While this microcosm of Los Angeles proves troubling—Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, New York, San Francisco, Denver, Detroit along with all our large cities spiral into ‘people exhaustion’. As their populations increase, their problems extend beyond their abilities to solve them.
What, pray-tell, causes all this overload? Short answer: from 1965 to 1995, the U.S. increased its immigration load from 170,000 annually to 1.2 to 1.5 million. That added 100 million within 40 years. From 1995 to 2008, the U.S. added 2.2 to 2.4 million annually from legal and illegal immigration.
How many people might that be? For a visual example, most Americans watch the Rose Bowl football game every New Year’s. That bowl holds 100,000 people. That’s a lot of people folks!
Every 30 days, the U.S. government fills TWO Rose Bowls loaded with 200,000 legal and illegal immigrants and spills them into American society. Our president and Congress commit this heinously stupid act, no matter what the ominous consequences to American citizens, month in and month out, year in and year out, decade in and decade out. Everyone of those 200,000 immigrants needs food, water, clothing, housing, transport, medical care, education, jobs and, for many, prison space to resettle into America.
While Americans pride themselves on using common sense, rational thinking and taking logical actions to solve problems facing our civilization—our national leaders prove themselves inept, incompetent and incongruous. In other words friends, they drank the Kool-aide deep! Trying to educate them as to our growing plight resembles a man trying to teach a fish to walk, a frog to fly, a hummingbird to hop and a horse to ‘mooo’.
Anyone with an ounce of common sense would come to a quick conclusion that if you don’t want the cows getting into a pasture, you shut the gate. But if you don’t shut the gate, as Robin McAlpine said, “Things keep getting worse!”
As a final note, and from my world travels perspective, “They will get much, much worse!”
At some point, very soon, the U.S. must shut the immigration gate. The survival of California and the rest of our civilization depends on it.

Roy Beck's "IMMIGRATION BY THE NUMBERS" is the single best educational appreciation of America's future if we allow ourselves to add another 100 million people. Just click on this site for the most sobering experience of your children's future.
Roy Beck gives a graphic presentation of our fate if we continue to allow legal and illegal immigration to swamp this country. If you have children, you will be particular unnerved at their fate. I know Roy Beck personally and his integrity and knowledge stand at the top. Pass this web site 14 minute video far and wide across America to educate everyone you know. We either stop this human tsunami or the future of this country will be much like Rome's. We must, as a nation and a civilization, move to secure our country from this massive, unrelenting population overload from a line that never ends. This will be the most compelling 14 minute video of your life.

Go to www.earth2100.tv for a sobering reality check as to what we face and to what I have been writing about for the past 20 years. Our ‘window’ to change to a balanced population and non-polluting energy diminishes every day we listen to irresponsible media and thus ignore the blatant symptoms manifesting all over America and the planet.
