Pastor Jailed for 60 Days for Holding Services in His Back Yard -- U.N. Charter Replaces First Amendment
On June 15, 2012, a federal district court dismissed Michael Salman's attempt to halt the judgment of a lower federal court that refused Salman's claim that the State of Arizona had violated his free exercise rights when a judge sentenced him to 60 days in jail. Salman was also fined $12,000, and given three year's probation, with the understanding that he cannot minister to more than 12 people at his home. As many as fifty people had met at a time in his back yard gazebo in Phoenix, Arizona. Salman was accused of failing to comply with building, zoning, fire and safety codes applicable to churches. Michael has told The Trumpet that he plans to appeal his case to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

According to multiple news reports, restricting or forbidding home meetings is a trend that is taking place regularly all over the nation.  In 2011, the California city of San Juan Capistrano fined Chuck Fromm, former president of Maranatha Music, and co-founder and editor of Worship Leader magazine, and his wife Stephanie, for holding Bible studies in their family home without a permit.
In April 2009, San Diego county officials issued a warning to David and Mary Jones for hosting a weekly Bible study in their home without a permit for religious assembly; the county rescinded the warning in June of that year.

In November of that year, Joe Sutherland of Gilbert, Arizona, was given a cease-and-desist order for church meetings in his home because it violated the city's zoning code. The city council revised the code the following March to allow the meetings.
Pastor Mike McPherson and the Freedom Baptist Temple in Deland, Florida, face the same dilemma. It would cost their small congregation well over $100,000 to meet all of the demanded improvements that the county is asking for them to make, including an access road, among other ridiculous things. The cost is prohibitive. Finally, the County officials, in a compromise, told the church that they could continue to meet in the leased facilities as long as they didn't put out a sign.

In essence, these are underground churches right here in the country where we have the First Amendment, and also religious liberty clauses in our state constitutions. In reality, these guarantees of religious worship are not worth the paper they are written on. Dare we ask why? Is it possible that our Constitution has been replaced with another one without our realizing it? Let's examine the issue more closely.

Treaty Law

In our opinion, outside of the Bible, there has never been a document equal to the U.S. Constitution in the history of the human race, in the area of civil government. But it is still a manmade document, subject to interpretation by whoever has the power on their side, whether it be Congress or the Courts.  Article VI paragraph 2 is a good example.
"This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; AND ALL TREATIES (emphasis mine) made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."

This is based on the ancient principle of  "Treaty Law" that has become known as the "Law of Nations", based on the concept of Israel's compact with the Gibeonites found in the 9th chapter of Joshua. The city of Gibeon was next in line to be exterminated by the armies of Israel. The elders hatched up a plan to send an ambassage to Israel with old clothes, shoes and stale bread as if they had travelled from afar. They appealed to Israel's pride. They said that they knew they had destroyed all the other cities and begged them to spare their city, which Joshua and the elders agreed to. When they found out that they were only the next city in their path, they knew that they had been had, so to speak. The people of Israel were really upset with the leadership and told them so, in no uncertain terms, but it was too late to back out of the deal. Here is what was said:

Joshua 9:18-19 And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes. But all the princes said unto all the congregation, We have sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel: now therefore we may not touch them.

In other words, "Treaty Law" became the "Supreme law of the land." Obviously, elected officials should not make treaties that supersede the U.S. Constitution. However, they do it all of the time.  In our opinion, the worst was in 1945, when the U.S. Senate ratified the U.N. Charter.  In essence, it superseded the U.S. Constitution, and ever since then, our U.S. Congress, the state legislatures, and county councils have been moving slowly to bring U.S. laws into sync with United Nations or International Law, and the Federal Courts have been making their decisions, for the most part, on this same basis. Judges like Ruth Bader Ginsburg are not even masking their goals any longer with statements that she has made recently that we should bring America under "International Law." Sonia  Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, recent Obama appointees, would take the same position, based on their stated philosophy. The fact that Clinton nominated Ginsburg and Obama nominated Sotomayor and Kagan should show to all where these men are in the area of world governance.
Following is the U.N. Charter on Religious Rights, which, according to U.N. statements is an ongoing process on the part of this world body, called "evolving law."
U.N. Charter on Religious Rights

1981 Resolution

It includes declarations on the topics of: * religious intolerance * freedom of religion * discrimination on the basis of religion or belief

Resolution Adopted By The General Assembly. 36/55.
Declaration On The Elimination Of All Forms Of Intolerance And Of Discrimination Based On Religion Or Belief

 Article 1

1. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. This right shall include freedom to have a religion or whatever belief of his choice, and freedom, either individually or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in worship, observance, practice and teaching.
2. No one shall be subject to coercion which would impair his freedom to have a religion or belief of his choice.
3. Freedom to manifest one's religion or beliefs may be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary to protect public safety, order, health or morals or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others.
In the original U.N. Charter it also mentions that people are free to have no religion. If you will read this carefully, this Charter is a far cry from what we Americans have in our First Amendment. In point #3 it says very clearly that religion can be limited "by law" where the First amendment says, "no law."
Our Constitution is received as an endowment from our Creator. This U.N. monstrosity is granted by a charter from a nebulous world body. You will notice that it discusses the issue of coercion. If you read the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child, you will find that parents are not allowed to even teach their children their own faith if their children object, including taking them to their own church, including them in family devotions, or, enrolling them in a religious school. Also, other portions of the U.N. Charter lists non-discrimination clauses in the area of religion, sex and race. However, the right to discriminate is one of the most basic and necessary rights that we need to protect ourselves, our families and our culture.
Miriam-Webster Dictionary
Discriminate:  a : to make a distinction <discriminate among historical sources> b : to use good judgment
And yet the word discriminate has become a bad word in our culture today. When has it become wrong to "to make a distinction" and "to use good judgment"?
So the U.N. Charter supporters say that their goal is not to discriminate against any religion -- but to not discriminate in reality is to discriminate. In that they and their cohorts are in power, they have the ability through the media, to control those who are discriminated against.  Be assured it will be those who oppose the New World Order agenda, and also any who oppose the life style of the wicked, such as abortion, pornography, adultery, fornication or sodomy, and a whole litany of other evils too vile to imagine.
My contention is that the U.N. has a goal to not only unite the world under a One World Government and a One World monetary system but also under a One World Religious system, which the Bible predicted nearly 5,000 years ago. It reiterated those predictions 3,000 years later through the Apostle John in Revelation Chapters 13 and 17. However, to bring that Satanic system into effect, Christ's true churches must be destroyed. The First Amendment was a barrier to that Satanic goal, but America's entrance into the U.N., with the help of our liberal courts, is now removing that barricade of righteousness.
Following is the result of a powerful study on this subject by (TCAN) The Christian Alert Network. This study is reprinted on Pg. 77 of The Trail of Blood Revisited, which is available through the Trumpet.
U.N. Targets Local Churches for Eradication
The Christian ALERT Network (TCAN) of Killeen, Texas, has prepared a report warning pastors and churches, not only in the U.S. but also around the world, that the United Nations has literally declared war on Christ and His church. Their goal is to eliminate all local churches from the face of the earth. The report addresses the physical local church, not some ethereal invisible will-o-the-wisp type of church that most Christians believe in today. T-CAN says that this plan is like a giant picture puzzle with each piece cleverly secreted within a myriad of documents, most of which the average American has never seen. TCAN gives several pages of documentation showing how this plan is working at the present time. They are using the tax laws, zoning, building permits, tax-exemption regulations, wetlands and wild lands projects to effect this effort, among many other things such as Behavior Modification (brainwashing). Any church that has tried to build lately can attest to the effectiveness of this nefarious plan by the world manipulators at the UN. The Indianapolis Baptist Temple has experienced this hatred for the Lord's church first hand. This struggle for continued existence on behalf of churches of all denominations across the nation is keeping entire Christian Law advocacy firms busy full time, and expending untold millions of dollars of the Lord's money.

We cite four examples of how this UN policy is presently applied by local officials, who, no doubt, are not even aware of it. Pastor Kenneth Wilson had to go to court to enjoin the city of Evansville, Indiana, from making his church get rezoning when they occupied an abandoned church building. They actually sent out prayer police that reported back to the city council that the church was, in fact, having prayer meetings based on the announcement on their sign out front. The Baptist Temple in Indianapolis had to sue through a second party to get a commercial building rezoned for the purpose of worship. In the process, they found that the building could have been used for any purpose, including a liquor establishment or pornographic book store, but not a church congregation. By the time the case was settled, the facility was no longer available. Another Baptist church in a small city east of Indianapolis had to leave the city because of zoning problems, and then, when they found a location in the country, they found that it was zoned agriculturally. In the end, through all of the problems, the small church ended up dissolving. However, one of the most egregious examples of this conspiracy against God took place in Melbourne, Florida. During the 2-1/2 years that it took Beacon Baptist Ministries to get their 6000 sq. foot building built, a Wal-Mart grocery store down the street and an entire mall a few miles away were completed and occupied.
After the Fromms received an avalanche of support nationwide, the City Council of San Juan caved and passed a new ordinance that defines a church as, "legally constituted religious organization for public and family worship of a deity or deities, together with buildings and uses that are accessory thereto and used for the teaching of religious dogma, accessory social functions and one single-family dwelling for use as a minister or caretaker residence." The definition includes, "synagogues, temples, mosques and other buildings used for those purposes." It is based on a definition adopted in 2010 by the city of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

The problem is simple, this simply doesn't solve the problem. The Lord's church cannot file for the permit because it would be violating their faith in the Lordship of Christ to do so. The second reason is that the city can make such demands that the church cannot meet, such as handicap regulations, fire and health regulations, etc.  Then there is the clause that says that the church must be a "legally constituted religious organization." In other words, an IRS approved state church.  A church that agrees to espouse "federal public-policy," a UN approved church that will not discriminate against sodomites and will not have a meaningful voice in society by participating in the political process, but will simply be a toothless tiger with no bite. As Paul said, 2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
God held Israel accountable for the treaty that they made with Gibeon, albeit they were tricked. No doubt he will hold us, as a nation, responsible for the irresponsible alliance that we have made with pagan, atheistic and communistic nations, many who had vowed to destroy us long before we ever entered into this compact. If this be so, will he not even more so hold the churches responsible for entering into the 501 (c ) (3) compact for privileges and benefits such as tax-exemption, tax deductible gift from tithes and offerings, and special tax breaks for their ministers?

For decades there have been those calling for "AMERICA TO GET OUT OF THE UN AND GET THE UN OUT OF AMERICA."
Well, let's do. It's not too late, but it will take a national will on the part of this generation that is far greater than the generation before us. It is going to take repentance for our sin, personal and national.
As for the churches: God is looking for pastors and churches who are willing to give up their tax-exemption and their tax deductible gifts and go outside the "camp" with the Lord Jesus (Hebrews 13:13). John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
We must demand of the courts that they recognize our God given rights guaranteed by the federal and state Bill of Rights. But we also must make sure that our hands are clean by not being entangled with the corporate church scheme, which has no such guarantees, but are considered "public charities" and "religious organizations" defined by the IRS as "legal entities," not New Testament churches defined as such by the Word of God.
The Biblical Law Center stands ready to help any church to organize or reorganize to break the 501(c)(3) contract and the Sec. 508 under Sec. 501(c)(3) that are not incorporated but are considered as unincorporated associations under state law by the IRS.  We ask them to meet a criteria that listed on the BLC web site at http://biblicallawcenter.com/?page_id=90.
