Donna Hancock Date: 04-06-2014 Subject: Events: Arizona JOIN US FOR AN INFORMATIVE EVENING "Smart Growth in Your Town" General Plan 2040 Speaker Patrick Wood • Tempe Pyle Adult Center Thursday April 24, at 6pm-8:30 • 655 East Southern Ave Tempe Southwest corner of Rural and Southern just West of Tempe Library Every city is required to put forth a General Plan once a decade. The
General Plan lays out the guidance for the municipal governments to
develop zoning and ordinances around. It is a very significant piece of
legislation and greatly IMPACTS YOUR day to day life in your city. Tempe for example approved the light-rail project in their previous
General Plan (GP). The people do have to vote on the General Plan, and
Tempe's vote is in May 2014. It is rare that a GP is voted down,
generally the turn out is very low in most elections. What would happen
with a bigger turn out? Tempe residents who understand the GP are actively working to educate
the residents of Tempe. Scottsdale Here is Tempe's 2040 proposed GP
(summary). Join us Thursday evening, for a very informative look at the Tempe 2040 GP. Admission is $0 but donations are accepted. About the speaker Patrick Wood is an author and lecturer who has studied elite
globalization policies since the late 1970's, when he partnered with the
late Antony C. Sutton to co-author Trilaterals Over Washington, Volumes
I and II. He remains a leading expert on the elitist Trilateral
Commission, their policies and achievements in creating their
self-proclaimed "New International Economic Order." An economist by
education, a financial analyst and writer by profession and an American
Constitutionalist by choice, Wood has deep historical insights into the
modern attacks on sovereignty, property rights and personal freedom.
Such attacks are epitomized by the implementation of U.N. policies such
as Sustainable Development, Smart Growth and in education, the
widespread adoption of Common Core. Patrick is a frequent speaker and
guest on radio shows around the nation. His current research builds on
Trilateral Commission hegemony, focusing on Transhumanism, Technocracy
and scientism, and how these are co-opting economics, politics and
religion around the world. . |
