The Bakadude we know … tells a story. He is opposed – and I think with excellent reasons … more understandable and more right or straightforward than bent or crooked – to your view that appears below.
Many followers like me are wondering if Bakadude quit FP.com. It seems that he is not visible anymore in this website for some reasons that perhaps only you knew. Nowadays it makes me feel a little bit depressed and admittedly disconsolate every time I open Freedomsphoenix.com and lost sight of him at least in Freedom Forum where he, undeniably, lights it up.
I was informed through an auto-copy-furnished e-mail reaching a large number of his fans and followers from the Academe that there was some kind of a breach of editorial anonymity. At least in this website, and known to be an icon of knowledge, Bakadude seemed to have been CARRYING a burden or LOAD OF RESPONSIBILITY heavier than Atlas has the world on his shoulders [see the graphic picture I sent], trying to defend The Realm, i.e., the established Institutions of the United States of America – the Government, the State, the Cops, the TSA for the safety of air-travelers, the American public from the spread of Salmonella, Listeria, and E. Coli diseases by drinking raw milk and eating unpasteurized milk products, the Federal Reserves the U.S. cannot be without, America’s burgeoning debts, etc. -- from vicious attacks of the enemy within, as Bakadude described it himself. In so doing, his private person was attacked and his name abused and soiled by those who cannot argue with him sensibly in an open public debate “because they have nothing above their shoulders”. Much farther below this Professor’s level of education, those vicious website Ad Hominem specialists, in Bakadude’s own words -- or in his hurting gasp of pain, if you may – were “on top of me like sharks in a feeding frenzy!” And eventually, we no longer see his name, especially in this Freedom Forum page where his intellectual excitement vibrates.
Is this responsibility atop Bakadude’s shoulders too heavy to carry for an educated man like him that he needed a leave of absence or a vacation leave maybe …perhaps because this learned man personally needed some time so badly to spiritually recharge himself and at the same time to nurse the wounds he sustained which he neither expected nor deserved at all?
The bottom line is, for sharing the light of his vast knowledge of historical events, of the concept of liberty and freedom, of the importance of Government to our American way of life and to our Free Market System or Free Enterprise Society, of our American culture, politics and the American economy, etc., all of these coming from what he had thought of deeply, written and published … particularly sharing all of these with those who lost their way in the dark because of hostility and ignorance, well, the revolutionary Libertarian world was unkind to him -- in fact as a reward, he got a flak from the gutter.
I wonder if what he had been doing in this Libertarian venue was worth the heck of his time. Probably his disappearance was a blessing in disguise and good for him. However, fairly knowing him in the Academe for quite sometime, I am sure he was pretty much aware of his own Way of the Cross, and at the same time sentient not just mindful or cognizant of the travails of every man of higher learning to share the light of knowledge they have to everyone when the dark shadows of ignorance and spiteful aggressions totally engulfs the penumbra of today’s contentious and fractious society.
Whatever that is -- and whatever is the reason or reasons behind the scarcity of the appearance of Bakadude’s name in this website lately – it does not necessarily mean that it is the end of the world for me or to FP.com’s readership. Other than his colleagues in the Academe, fans and followers, I am sure Bakadude will always live in the mind of the millions of readers of this website, as well as in the heart and mind of millions of Internet viewers who found his philosophical thinking undeniably irresistible, especially to those attracted to this Guru’s Enlightenment like how moths are drawn to the light – to The Light of Reason. They are pulled toward his intellectual prowess, to his skill of analyzing critical issues of the day, to the shinning light of truth he holds in his heart and mind when he writes, and most of all, to his Libertarian Philosophy of Reason, besides his published scholarly essays and other erudite writings.
In the Ideological Ream, Bakadude was described by his “moderate” Libertarian colleagues – and that includes me -- as a “philosophical freshener … a Libertarian deodorant”, whose Libertarian beliefs were considered as a “breath of fresh air” by his Libertarian associates who cannot reconcile with their other Libertarian-anarchist collaborators in extremis who are crying for “revolt”, those who had virtually aligned themselves with the Radical Left in a nationwide campaign to undermine the Establishment with the end in view of “abolishing” the Federal Government and the State, and to destroy the United States of American from within as an imagined “Evil American Empire”.
A review of some of his published works would show that he had no doubt educated the less sophisticated segment of the American public so that the “bad guys” could not take advantage of them, i.e., taking them for a ride by feeding them false data or falsified information printed either as news or reports supposedly written by “reliable” sources. When neither is true nor reliable, it really pulls the rug off their feet.
A good example of what have been deceptively published which Bakadude exposed as false and fraudulent is this “overpopulation scaremongering”. It is alleged for instance that the population increases exponentially and the world would end due to lack of space, drinking water, food and energy. Backed up with researched data and statistics, Bakadude had pointed out the facts and called attention to the truth behind this falsehood, as follows:
“That it would take “eternity” for humans to occupy not even half of the space on the face of Planet Earth and beyond [the envisioned ‘floating cities’ above and below the sea; the planet is almost all water [more than 70% of it] that all living creatures that need water to live would drown in it rather than die of thirst; the supply of food and energy is endless for as long as Planet Earth orbits around the Sun.” Some of Bakadude’s expose’ can be found in this website’s archive, and a few of them that makes a lie out of Libertarian philosophies in extremis, was mysteriously deleted.”
The latest of Bakadude’s hard-hitting commentaries that readers reportedly could no longer find in this website’s archive was about this country’s BORROWING dilemma. This appears in his book on Globalization:
“Let’s not forget for a moment that this nation HAS BEEN BORROWING a lot since it was founded by our illustrious forefathers because we have NOTHING when we started from scratch. The only way we could support [finance] our struggle to win our Freedom from
England was to BORROW and INCUR DEBTS. We started to incur tremendous amounts of debts starting from the REVOLUTION and won our
INDEPENDENCE from the Crown of England not only because of our patriotic fervor but also definitely because of DEBTS. The bigger the debt had been, the better it was for the struggle.
“Today, those $trillions of debts had made us what we are now -- the wealthiest and the mightiest nation on the planet!”
This commentary continues:
“The enemy within that attacked our national debts during the time of the REVOLUTION, is harping the same cock-a-doodle-do today. That was centuries ago... it didn’t age, it didn’t change. The so-called ‘economic exponentia’” destruction or “economic death” due to huge borrowing we were supposed to be facing in the days ahead never occurred.
“Today the enemy within predicts the economic collapse of the
United States because $trillions of debts continue to grow. Study Development Economics and you will know that the nature of our advance economy is at what is known as “push-button stage” – a self-sufficient, self-re-enforcing system that functions by itself. All you have to do is push a button.
“This is another way of saying that the automaton growth of this greatest nation on earth will just make the
United States even grow bigger and stronger than it is today.”
The focal point Bakadude was driving at is that this apocalypse prediction of economic collapse due to borrowing began centuries ago …what he is saying is that it didn’t happen before, it won’t happen now, or wouldn’t ever happen any day anytime in the future.
This big responsibility of informing and re-educating the public, especially through this website, is neither easy nor light a load to carry on his shoulders. This could explain why Bakadude’s name had taken a backseat, perhaps in the meantime that he is gathering back his strength and once more put the world back on his shoulders.
In all accounts, Bakadude has put these written views of yours supporting this rather innocuous claim of freedom to shoot and kill cops as constitutional and righteous, in a rather suspicious situation more as a publisher than as a politician. I am ready to defend your right as a publisher, but not as a politician, if that should cleanse a bad taste in the mouth.
I did hope that more of our readers would have read this view opposite to yours, to give them – our reading public -- a “balance” information, had you published it in the front page. But I think even just one reader who reads this here in Freedom Forum would have made the whole world reading it.

Anyone that reads the article will likely be surprised how supportive they are of the idea that you might think about resiting _before_ they close the sliding doors on the Cattle Car.
I certainly understand why Law-Enforcement would rather the people act like cattle until the end. But for them to purposely bring attention to this particular article (creating a flood of readers already) means that they either have not read it (likely for many LEOs) or they are advocating the idea that a Gov't Official should never ever under any circumstances be resisted.
I don't think they understand the debate that they have unleashed.
But don't think that your arguments are going to be met with a reasoned argument from them... they got guns and force and intimidation. And LEOs are trained to get their way one way or another,... and be proud of what they've done for... fill in the blank justification.
I simply advocate a peaceful understanding of all of the facts and as much understanding as possible... but I think that is what is the most threatening to those that rely so much on manipulation of information.
Which... BTW is why we can expect more Internet Control Legislation to become all the rage in legislative bodies.
