China says 140 killed in riots in west
07-06-2009
•
AP
Violent street battles killed at least 140 people
and injured 828 others in the deadliest ethnic unrest to hit China's
western Xinjiang region in decades, and officials said Monday the death
toll was expected to rise.
Police sealed off streets in parts of
the provincial capital, Urumqi, after discord between ethnic Muslim
Uighur people and China's Han majority erupted into riots. Witnesses
reported a new protest Monday in a second city, Kashgar.

Nafta Superhighway Returns From The Dead
07-06-2009
•
Liberty News Radio
The Trans-Texas Corridor, part of the NAFTA Superhighway projected to link the United States with Canada and Mexico as an integral cog of the North American Union, is back on the agenda after Texas Governor Rick Perry lied in claiming that the proposal was dead earlier this year.
The open plan to merge the US with Mexico and Canada and create a Pan-American Union networked by a NAFTA Superhighway has long been a Globalist brainchild, but fierce opposition to the plan from activists across the country has stalled the plan at least temporarily....

Thoughts on Leonard Cohen

For four decades, Leonard Cohen has been one of the most important and influential songwriters of our time, a figure whose body of work achieves greater depths of mystery and meaning as time goes on. His songs have set a virtually unmatched standard in their seriousness and range. Sex, spirituality, religion, power " he has relentlessly examined the largest issues in human lives, always with a full appreciation of how elusive answers can be to the vexing questions he raises

Debunking Obama’s Cap and Trade and Global Warming Myths
7/02/09
•
CFP
As the USA population is now firmly under One-Party rule, it becomes even more essential that the truth is disseminated to the people"for as long as will be allowed. Scientists have been opposing the global warming hype since it was first introduced by the United Nations and, then, former US VP Al Gore.
These scientists were then threatened with the loss of both their jobs and credibility if they continued to speak out against the fraudulent concept; a concept that was brought to bear so that “wealthy” Western populations (most specifically the USA) could be relieved of their money via new and prohibitive taxation.....

Bill banning forced identity-chip implants clears House
7/06/09
•
Then Philadelphia Enquirer
HARRISBURG - Invasion of privacy is an issue that really gets under State Rep. Babette Josephs' skin.
That's why the Philadelphia Democrat introduced a bill, passed unanimously last week by the House, that would ban the forced implantation of computer chips in humans.
Conjuring Orwellian images, Josephs worries the identification devices - the size of a grain of rice - could lead to a real-life Big Brother nightmare....

My point though is that complex cultural evidence should appear between 60,000 BP to 13,000 BP. Since I also suspect that much of humanity made itself scarce before the Pleistocene nonconformity, it is reasonable that such evidence should show a disconnect between the present era and the previous era.
Accordingly, it becomes obvious that the locale with the best chance of providing conforming evidence is Australia, not least because the shift turned it into an arid desert for the most part.

Not what the American people ordered - HR 2749, martial law and the enslavement of their farmers
7/05/09

Campaign for Liberty
HR 2749 is a strange bill in many ways. While the other "food safety" bills have been around since winter, allowing for much public discussion on the internet, HR 2749 has only suddenly appeared. It is a mutant conglomeration of the worst of the other bills, with the addition of one very original part - martial law.

New red-light cams can check for insurance
7/3/09
•
WTOL
Red light cameras have a new target. They can now do more than just catch speeders. They can also check to see if you have insurance.
There's a program that uses the red-light cameras and insurance company databases to check for uninsured motorists.
Here's how it works. The system would use license plate numbers to verify driver insurance. Ohio and Illinois are considering using the system. Officials in Chicago say the program could generate $200 million in additional revenue for the windy city.

GOVERNMENT GONE MAD IN A TOTAL SURVEILLANCE SOCIETY

News With Views
I've heard it all- the cries, the pleas, the whines, the double speak and the lies. "We need the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to protect us from terrorists." "We must have Real ID to protect us from illegal immigration." "We must have E-Verify to protect American jobs." "Traffic light cameras are necessary to make the streets safer." "Security cameras on street corners make our neighborhoods safer." "I'm glad the TSA is there at the airport - I feel so much safer getting on an airplane." And my favorite lie of them all - "If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear." ....
