Evidence of Global Cooling…Study Censored by EPA
6/30/09
•
For Freedoms Sake
The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) has done an excellent job of exposing a major cover-up at the EPA regarding a study on global warming because it conflicts with the agenda of the current administration and its Cap and Trade legislation.
Below you will find an excellent summary of the attempted cover-up of the evidence that we are experiencing global cooling, not warming, gutting the argument for the horrendous “cap and trade” bill. Incredibility, CEI has also released internal emails between Al McGartland, Office Director of EPA’s National Center for Environmental Economics (NCEE), to Alan Carlin, Senior Operations Research Analyst at NCEE, forbidding him from speaking to anyone outside NCEE on endangerment issues. Mr. McGartland’s emails demonstrate that he was rejecting Mr. Carlin’s study because its conclusions ran counter to EPA’s proposed position. Don’t take my word for it, the evidence is here......

Pope says bone fragments found in St Paul's tomb
06-30-2009
•
Reuters
Pope Benedict announced fragments of bone from the
first or second century had been found in a tomb in the Basilica of St
Paul in Rome, which he said confirmed the belief that it housed the
apostle's remains.
"This seems to confirm the unanimous and undisputed tradition that
these are the mortal remains on the Apostle Paul," the pontiff said at
St Paul's-Outside-the-Walls, on the eve of the Feasts of St Peter and
St Paul celebrated on Monday.

The Emperor’s Seven Signing Statements
06-30-2009
•
David Swanson - American Chronicle
Lawless detention is the least of it. State secrets and warrantless spying scrape the surface. Drone attacks and ongoing torture
begin to touch it. But central to the power of an emperor, and the
catastrophes that come from the existence of an emperor, is the
elimination of any other force within the government.

Paradise Valley Caught In $193k Ticket Fraud
06-30-2009
•
CameraFRAUD.com
From TheNewspaper.com: A group campaigning to eliminate photo enforcement in Arizona has forced Paradise Valley to admit that it has been shortchanging drivers. A volunteer with the group Camerafraud discovered the city used illegally short yellows at the intersection of Tatum Boulevard and McDonald Drive. The motorist was mailed a red light camera ticket for allegedly entering the intersection just 0.2 seconds after the light had turned red.
“I was nailed with a ticket at an intersection that left me very perplexed because I didn’t think I was going to get a ticket,” David K. wrote on June 16. “I thought I was close enough to the intersection to pass the limit line before the light turned red. Well, I thought wrong because the duration for the yellow light on a 40 MPH speed limit road was only three seconds…”
…Altogether, 1063 motorists issued red light camera tickets between May 6 and June 16 will receive refunds if paid or have their citations canceled. Most have not p

(This BBC video explains how the US Military has moved from inside the cities to just outside the cities out of sight where they'll be waiting for..... The media is being scrubed of the many new large US military bases around the country. If there is any sort of an uprising against the 'USA approved' government there will be intervention... immediately. Just as with Vietnam, this war will continue until it is no longer funded.)

Despite the pullback from cities and towns, due to be completed on Tuesday, US troops will still be embedded with Iraqi forces. ...while the pullback is significant, the actual withdrawal of US combat troops in 2010 will pose a greater challenge.(They aren't really leaving,... the troops are now populating the new US military bases instead of the cities)

More questions about Barack Obama's birth certificate, still
6/30/09
•
LA Times
Well, this'll get things going again on the Barack Obama birth certificate controversy that won't die because it's one of those zombie issues like who really killed JFK.
No less an authority on politics, history and government archives than the Pat Boone is now raising serious questions about the legitimacy of the entire Obama administration and everything it has done since those 21 guns went off shortly after noon on Jan. 20.
This is because a lot of people, including firebrand conservative Alan Keyes (as The Ticket described here in February) and now Boone, insist or suggest or imply that Obama cannot be president of these United States because they insist, suggest or imply he wasn't really born in Hawaii but was actually born in Kenya, his father's homeland.

Compromise Reached In Restraining Order Case Against USMV Vet 9/11 Truther
06-29-2009
•
waronyou
Muhammed Abdullah had his hearing June 26, 2009 in Pomonr Superior Court. The Pomona City Attorney had filed a restraining order barring Abdullah from coming in contact with any one of hundreds of Pomona Police and City employees. This was done at the request of some employees of the Pomona Police Dept. who alleged that Abdullah’s comments about 9/11 and war crimes against Iraqi women by U.S. soldiers ’scared them’. If the restraining order had been granted, Abdullah, a USMV Vet and convert to islam, would have been barred from owning guns. Abdullah had been standing outside the Pomona Police Dept. for several months with a sign and dvds alleging that 9/11 was an “inside job” orchestrated by criminal elements within the U.S. government. When he started talking about war crimes and the torture rape of Iraqi Muslim women and children, apparently, according to the temporary restraining order, he had gone too far.

Deficit forces California to issue IOUs
06-29-2009
•
Financial Times
California is preparing to issue IOUs to its creditors this week as it grapples with an unprecedented cash crunch and prepares to begin its new fiscal year deep in the red.
Once the US’s richest state, California now has the dubious distinction of having the worst credit rating in the country.
It
is facing a budget deficit of $24bn (€17bn, £14.5bn) yet Arnold
Schwarzenegger, its governor, and the state assembly cannot agree on a
budget that would address the shortfall.
California’s fiscal year
ends on Wednesday but as the state’s cash reserves are empty, IOUs will
be issued to a range of creditors, including contractors, such as
information technology companies and the food service groups that cater
for prisons.
“On Wednesday we start a fiscal year with a
massively unbalanced spending plan and a cash shortfall not seen since
the Great Depression,” said John Chiang, the state controller.
“Unfortunately, the state’s inabilit
