Britain to Falsely Designate Hamas a Terrorist Organization

On October 8, 1997 — in cahoots with apartheid Israel — the Clinton crime family falsely designed Hamas a terrorist organization.

It's a legitimate political organization with a military wing for self-defense, its legal right. 

It's not a terrorist organization, as falsely designated by the state department at the behest of apartheid Israel.

In January 2006, Hamas became historic Palestine's legitimate government.

Palestinians democratically elected a majority of Hamas members to Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) seats. 

Unlike puppet Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas, Hamas promised independence from longstanding apartheid control to serve Palestinian interests over Israeli ones.

That's why it's isolated in Gaza and demeaned, not for any terrorist threat it poses that doesn't exist.

Reading fabricated remarks scripted for her to recite, Johnson regime home secretary Priti Patel falsely called Hamas "fundamentally and rabidly anti-Semitic (sic)."

The pro-war, anti-peace, anti-rule of law Johnson regime "laid an order in parliament to proscribe Hamas in its entirety - including its political wing."

"Hamas has significant terrorist capability (sic), including access to extensive and sophisticated weaponry as well as terrorist training facilities (sic, and it has long been involved in significant terrorist violence (sic)."

"Hamas commits, participates, prepares for and promotes and encourages terrorism (sic). 

"If we tolerate extremism, it will erode the rock of security (sic)."

The above accusations apply to hegemon USA, Britain, other rogue NATO regimes and apartheid Israel — not Hamas or others falsely labeled.

In response, Hamas said the following:

"Instead of apologizing and correcting its historical sin against the Palestinian people. (Britain) supports aggressors at the expense of (its) victims."

The above refers to the infamous 1917 Balfour Declaration that  called for establishing a nation for Jews on stolen Palestinian land.

Endless conflict, occupation, dispossession, and repression, along with social and cultural fragmentation define conditions for beleaguered Palestinians. 

No end to their suffering for over 100 years is in prospect. 

Ignoring the rule of law, US/Western regimes and their imperial partners are hostile toward the rights of ordinary people everywhere.

Balfour acted without consulting Palestinians.

It's reason enough for them to deplore Britain, the US and their imperial co-cospirators to this day. 

Britain initiated the process of stealing historic Palestine's homeland, consigning its people to subjugation and misery — today under apartheid Israeli occupation.

Boris Johnson earlier defended the lawless action, saying he's "proud of Britain's part in creating Israel (sic)." 

The declaration was "indispensable to the creation of" an apartheid state, waging permanent war on subjugated Palestinians and cross-border against invented enemies.

Hamas correctly said that "(r)esisting occupation, by all available means, including armed resistance, is a right guaranteed by international law to people under occupation."

"(O)ccupation is terrorism."

"Killing the indigenous population, displacing them by force, demolishing their homes and imprisoning them is terrorism."

Senior Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said the extrajudicial move shows "absolute bias toward the Israeli occupation and is a submission to Israeli blackmail and dictations."

The also applies to resisting tyranny, a universal right afforded oppressed people everywhere.

For her part, Patel falsely said her (extrajudicial action) was "based upon a wide range of intelligence, information and also links to terrorism" — that don't exist.

Left unexplained was her 2017 sacking as UK international development secretary for failing to disclose meetings with Netanyahu, other regime officials, and then opposition leader/current foreign minister Yair Lapid on a private visit to Israel.

Once the Johnson regime's action becomes official, expressing support for the legitimacy of Hamas, as I did above, meeting with its members, or displaying symbols of support will be banned.

Violators of UK lawlessness face up to 10 years in prison — for doing the right thing.

Council for Arab-British Understanding director Chris Doyle slammed Patel's action, saying:

It's a politicized move that's unrelated to acting against terrorism or anti-Semitism.

At the same time, it ignores decades of "serious (Israeli)  transgressions of international law, violations of Security Council resolutions, use of torture, home demolitions," and other criminal actions.
