There Will Always be a Texas
• Buffalohair Gazette InternationalAs democracy, the Constitution and America disappears into the sunset there is one piece of real-estate that refuses to die, Texas. Since the first inclinations America may go under to become a satellite of the World Trade Organization Texans were not happy campers. From the first Tea Party Texans from all walks of life and ethnic persuasions were protesting and making their voices heard by their politicians. So much so that Governor Rick Perry of Texas threatened to secede from the union, and he meant it. After all, he was speaking for his constituents, the voting people of Texas. How novel eh. I know first hand the pride Texans have for their state and her remarkably courageous history. The spirit of the rugged individual lives in the hearts of every Texan and it is with honor Texans stand to defend their state. Protectionism is a tradition in Texas and if you’re not proud of Texas you are not a Texan. Like the sign says, “Don’t Mess with Texas”. But there should be another sign
