So, just as someone born in the "Republic of Italy" is "Italian" (and not "European Unionan") your de jure nationality may be "Alaskan", "Californian", or "Georgian". But, to the extent that you have likely declared that you are "United States of American" (as our defacto 14th Amendment system declares) you have likely surrendered your state [C]itizenship and your rights protected by your birth state and the Bill of Rights. So, please understand, your rights are enshrined legally in one of the several state constitutions (so you may be "Alaskan", "Alabaman", "Californian", "Floridian", "Georgian", etc...). But, you can never be "American" because there is no such country as "America". Please try to understand this.

Supreme Court: US vs. Cruikshank, 92 US 542 56 P. 545: "There is in our Political System, a government of each of the several states and a government of the United States. Each is distinct from the other and has citizens of its own." . Affirmed 278 US 123, Tashiro vs. Jordan "There is a clear distinction between national citizenship and state citizenship." Supreme Court: United States v. Cruikshank, 92 US 542, 549 (1875); quoted in Crosse v. Board of Supervisors, 221 A2d 433 (1966). "Both before and after the Fourteenth Amendment to the federal Constitution, it has not been necessary for a person to be a citizen of the United States in order to be a citizen of his state. " Supreme Court: Jones v. Temmer, 89 F. Supp 1226: "The privileges and immunities clause of the 14th Amendment protects very few rights because it neither incorporates the Bill of Rights, nor protects all rights of individual citizens. Instead this provision protects only those rights peculiar to being a citizen of the federal government; it does not protect those rights which relate to state citizenship." Supreme Court: US vs. Valentine 288 F. Supp. 957 "The only absolute and unqualified right of a United States citizen is to residence within the territorial boundaries of the United States." So, please begin to read the Constitutions of each of the several states (Republics & Commonwealths) of the united states of America. These documents (and your **state nationality**, NOT your U.S. federal citizenship) are the only means you have to preserve your **unalienable** rights. Why? Because the Constitution of the united states of America is an international treaty among sovereign states... That means that, under international law, the Constitution of the united states of America is not an agreement among people. What is the "United States of America (USA)"?
The USA is a Federal Constitutional Republic (FCR) - of 50 sovereign states. (Please understand that under international law the definition of a "state" means "a government of a country".
What does an FCR mean to the people of the several united states of America?
An FCR means to you, first and foremost, that your rightful legal status exists in your "state" nationality (not your federal citizenship, which was created by the 14th Amendment which was never ratified).
Please understand... a "state" is a legal term that means "government".
So, as a "state" is a "government", you will understand that people live not in "states".
Rather, human beings live in countries. Your country is that state of your birth!
Our federal constitution (which is a "de jure" international treaty among sovereign Republics/Commonwealths, ***NOT*** people) protects our national "state" governments against federal government encroachment against their sovereign state Nationals.
It is true that the USA is a Republic; but it was never designed to be a consolidated republic of people!
We live not in the "United STATE of America". The Founders created our FCR to be a Federal Constitutional Republic -> of sovereign Republics/Commonwealths.
For example, if the Member States of the European Community ever ratify a Constitution to create the "European Union", then all nationals of each of the Member States will have a supra-governmental system that is very similar to our FCR - yet EU citizenship will never replace state nationalities. Someone born in the "Republic of Italy" will always be "Italian". Someone born in the "Republic of France" will always be "French". Just as someone born in the "Republic of Florida" will always be "Floridian".
Unlike the European Community Member States\' constitutions, however, each of the several "de jure" state constitutions of the several "united states of America" declare and establish that your "UNalienable" rights (which are different from "INalienable" rights, as unalienable rights can never be consigned away) are granted to you by "Our Creator.
This means that RIGHTS are not granted by any government document, or by bureaucratic decree; nor can you ever reduce your rights by contract.
Rather, your state constitution declares that your RIGHTS are eternal! Your "RIGHTS" are not "privileges"!
As for your federal rights, the Supreme Court states that these are limited only to the right of residence within the "United States", which is located in the District of Columbia... see above! USC (United States Code) Title 28 § 3002: Definition (15).

Once you voluntarily delclare that you are a U.S. (federal) citizen (by participating in the system), you (perhaps, unknowingly) create a contract with the private (federal) corporation (located in the District of Columbia), known as the "United States"; therefore, according to the 14th Amendment, you are in rebellion against your "state" government and thus, replace your ede juree sovereign RIGHTS (protected by your state) with federal "privileges and immunities" (against prosecution by your "state" government for treason).
It\'s important that you read the "de jure" constitution of your state Republic/Commonwealth!
It is different from the more recent "de facto" (State) constitutions that were written during Reconstruction (as, some say, these "de facto" constitutions destroyed the "de jure sovereign states" of America.
Please understand that all of the countries of the world refer to their "state" as a country [eg. the European Community Member States, or, the State of Israel (all of which are sovereign Republics/Commonwealths - just like the several united states of America)].
If you were born in the Republic of Germany, you would be "German". If you were born in the Reublic of France, you would be "French". If you were born in the Republic of California, Iowa, Florida, or Tennessee you would be Californian, Iowan, Floridaian, or Tennessean.
U.S. (federal) citizenship, as stated in the 14th Amendment, provides "privileges & immunities" -- It does not protect your "unalienable" rights!
No constitution gives anyone a right.
Our rights come from our Creator, as children of God. We are His children. He is Our Father.
Read the constitution or your state Republic/Commonwealth (before Reconstruction).
Rights are not granted by any constitution written by men. Rights are unalienable (i.e. Rights are ***NOT*** privileges). They cannot be taken away or suppressed by anyone. Rights are eternal.
Read the 14th Amendment (grammatically; ignoring its subordinate clauses, which merely provide specifications and definitions)! It will alarm you.
The new "United States" (federal corporate) regime disabled (more superior) Common Law, in favor of private statutory (corporate) law.
