Just an interesting tale from the current financial scene. This was posted by a Border Patrol officer in a gun enthusiast forum I hang out on. It is only one tale among all the millions going on,...but I found it interesting.

"I just had an interesting conversation at Chase bank. I stopped by and asked why my line of home equity maximum had suddenly been reduced by 60% from last month. The woman looked surprised and told me that I was the first person she had talked to that did not have their line of equity reduced to ZERO.

She then told me about one couple with an 800K tract mansion (owned outright-no mortgage) with an 211K equity line that was reduced to zero. I have known the woman several years so I am inclined to believe she wasn\'t just BS\'n me.
