Lets tske a look at Montana. We have less then a million people, are three hundred miles north to south and five hindred miles east to west. Largest cities are just over a hundred thousand. We also have one of the largest nuke numbers in the world, I think we are tenth in the ability to destroy life as we know it.
Why would we leave the Union? For every tax dollar we give we get back almost two. We have a state government that at best only works every other year and great fishing. hunting, gold, silver and copper deposits plus enough coal to run the US for two hundred years.
But then again if we were a seperate nation we could charge the 5 million travellers each year, we could talk to Washington as a third world nation which would be better then what happens now and we could join with some of canada, join the oil cartels and steal from the rest of the country. Hummmmmmm may be it would be best......

The impression I got was that this has been very much kept under wraps and permission to reveal this information was only given today. The host, (Greg E.), a seemingly calm and level-headed guy, was extremely excited when he announced this--HE sure felt it was reliable information, and very momentous.
So perhaps it's outside the purview of what the legislature's been doing -- don't know, just speculating.
