RE: Your endorsement of Mitt Romney for President

Gentlemen:

If your endorsement of Mitt Romney for President was based on the lesser of two or more evils, then I can understand why you would do so if in fact there was a need for you to do so.

I have lived in Nevada since shortly following the Mormon Church reversing its position on denying priesthood to Black male members in June of 1978. I was a candidate for Mayor of Sparks in 1999.

Your archives should reveal that I was a 47 year old practicing attorney in the State of Washington when I ordained Larry Lester, a young Black man to priesthood on April 2, 1976.

I was not alone in the effort to eliminate racial prejudices from the church at that time. Football boycotts of BYU games was a given and there were other very concerned faithful Mormons who supported me in that effort and were also  excommunicated for insubordination both before and subsequent to 1978 act which church leaders never stated to be a revelation but continue to allow church members to call it the “1978 revelation.”

I noticed that neither Mitt Romney nor Jon Huntsman for that matter took the same position as I and those others in that effort to rid the church of that disgraceful racial practice. Why? Because of subordinate brainwashing!

However I am not writing this letter to discuss that struggle and its resolution those many years ago. What I am writing about is the apparent ignorance on your part to consider the history of the church in relation to government. Those of us who have researched that history are well aware that the struggles the church had in its infancy with governments

in Ohio, Missouri, Illinois and later Utah was not polygamy alone but the issue of its quest for political empire. Polygamy became an obvious handle for the government to deal with the political agenda.

It was and still is an issue even though the church suspended the quest after Reynolds V. U.S. (1878) in which the Federal government took [escheated] the property of the church. Polygamy along with the quest for empire became subordinate to the gaining of statehood for Mormon Utah. Suspension of those two practices does not mean abandonment.

About a month before church founder Joseph Smith, JR was murdered at the Carthage jail in Illinois on June 27, 1844 he had declared his candidacy for president of the United States. A mob killed Joseph and his brother Hiram at that jail.

The ploy of the church to wait until conditions became favorable for it to take and possess the government of the United states has been evident as between Smith’s 1844 candidacy and that of Mitt’s father George in 1967 and the 45 years to Mitt Romney, there has not been any attempt to seek governmental control at the national level.

During the five years preceding the ordination of Larry Lester I had beseeched church leaders for some consultation on errors the church was involved in; racism being just one of those issues. Oftentimes I would be asked why I was doing those things. Why was I not helping to “BUILD UP THE KINGDOM?”

In the world-wide missionary efforts of the church, the primary but not openly acknowledged goal of the church is the “BUILDING UP OF THE KINGDOM”.

Indeed I was well aware of that pursuit. In the Pacific Northwest I was known as a doctrinarian and I often received calls from members seeking answers to doctrinal questions.

I taught classes in priesthood development as well as adult Gospel doctrine. I can remember times when I openly discussed the future role of the church as the fulfillment of scripture in becoming the kingdom of our lord on earth. Admittedly I was in ignorant support. As recent as 4 months prior to the ordination of Larry, I recall sending a letter to church president Kimball via his male secretary, D. Arthur Haycock in which I advised more participation in government by Mormon members. Haycock responded saying they were “studying the letter.”

As a child in Ogden Utah I had experienced a paranormal event in which I had a conversation with whom I privately thought was an extraterrestrial, however over the years it became very foggy having lost the thrust of the what and why it had happened. I only knew that it involved the leadership of the church. Thirty four years later I attempted to have an in depth conference with the top leaders of the church to gain some insight into that event. That opportunity was denied me and I gave notice of insubordination to church leaders on January1, 1976. The

Ordination of Larry three months later provided the stimulus to gain a recall of the Event. It had to do with the quest for empire of church leaders.

It was an amazing thing to discover by a recall of the  39 year old paranormal experience just 4 days after the priesthood ordination that I learned the church did not have the favor of the cosmos as to the empire quest; in fact, just the opposite. That is to say that the heavens are opposed to the quest for empire of the Mormon Church.

The presidential aspiration of Mitt Romney as a temple oath swearing high priest in the Melchizedek priesthood would place him, as U.S president, in a position of subordination to church leaders in all things including the church agenda of empire and therefore is opposed by God Almighty.

Upon investigation you may be urged to reverse your endorsement of Romney. It is important that you understand I harbor no malice toward any church member.
