It doesn't vindicate gore at all.. he is a liar at heart.  Sure, his counterparts are going to lie now and then, but that doesn't change the nature of the beast--gore.  His lies spread far and wide.  As the article states... again, it is a computer model.  The northern ice, seeing how it floats, doesn't change the sea level.  At least, that is my interpretation of science and floating ice.  Ice comes and Ice goes... this is a planet in a violent universe subject to many, many things... most of which, I would say, we have no clue.
