Berserk robot attacks six scientists

According to New Scientist—the publication that first reported the grisly incident—researchers working on a robot at the University of Ljubljana laboratory in Slovenia were attacked and brutally beaten by the mechanized brute. This time the robot attacked without warning and beat each of the men "repeatedly on the arm" while they desperately sought a way to shut it down. The robot—engineered to repair self-service vending machines—was described as going "violently berserk" and beat the frantic men with an array of blunt devices using its articulated arm....
