The Iraqification of the U.K.

Back when Baghdad Burning was a current blog, we read often about the plight of Iraqis who had electric power for only a few hours a day, and had to plan their activities around that.

This, it seems, is the future envisioned for the U.K. In a recent interview, the CEO of their National Grid (power distributor) said that families would have to change their behavior, and consume power "when it is available." With the government, of course, deciding who gets priority.
