China deploys carrier-killer missiles

In a bid to offset the superiority of the US Navy, China has deployed of a new class of missiles specifically designed to destroy US supercarriers. The move is seen by military experts as a desire by Beijing to broaden China's power in the Yellow, East and South China seas. Admiral Robert F. Willard has stated for the record that the Chinese Navy's begun deploying the advanced offensive weapon expressly designed to sink United States' aircraft carriers and weaken US capability to defend its allies including Japan and Taiwan.
