A hacker and security analyst has published details on his SkyJack software that he says is engineered to “autonomously seek out, hack, and wirelessly take over other drones within wifi distance”. Samy Kamkar stated that users can operate the software with or without a drone of their own. The program works by finding drones in the area, connects to their networks, deactivates drones, and then reconnects them controlling them as “zombie” drones.
