DARPA Creating Transformers Like Robots
• thelibertybeat.comOn Tuesday the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA),
released concept images for its plan to design flying drones for the
U.S. military that can “transform”. The project, called ARES for Aerial
Reconfigurable Embedded System, would involved unmanned flying vehicles
capable of setting soldiers down in dangerous areas, and assist with the
evacuation of injured soldiers. The images resemble the popular
Transformers television and movie series vehicles.
