Has the mysterious founder of digital currency Bitcoin been found? Newsweek believes they have named the elusive person behind the movement.
Editors at Newsweek claim the digital currency was developed by Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto, of Temple City, California.
When reporters asked him to comment on the report, he denied any involvement with Bitcoin. After he left his property, media personnel followed him, and a car chase took place along Los Angeles freeways.
When Leah McGrath Goodman wrote her article naming Nakamoto as the founder, social media erupted in controversy. Some critics said the reporter should not have exposed the identity of someone who wished to remain anonymous.
Mount Gox, one of the world's largest trading firms for Bitcoin, recently announced they lost half-a-billion dollars from their accounts.
