LG G3's smartphone display is sharper than your HDTV

• dvice.com
It's fairly common for most smartphones (sorry iPhone users!) to have 720p or 1080p resolution displays; basically displays that are as clear as our HDTVs. LG's next flagship smartphone, the G3, is going to blow past every other smartphone screen.

LG Display has revealed its 5.5-inch QHD (Quad High Definition) is ready to be put into smartphones. The LCD boasts a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which is four times more pixels than a 720p display and 1.8 times more than a 1080p screen. In other words, it's sharper than your 1080p resolution HDTV, but not quite as crisp as a 4KTV.
