The law firm of Marc J. Victor, P.C. has been retained to represent Mr. Rick Bailey. Mr. Bailey is the victim of an overly broad Arizona law allowing judges to immediately strip citizens of their fundamental constitutional rights to peacefully keep and bear arms based on unchallenged and uncorroborated assertions. Mr. Bailey is an honorably discharged naval veteran with no known prior criminal convictions whatsoever. After an ex-parte hearing with a disgruntled neighbor for which Mr. Bailey was not present, Mr. Bailey was ordered to immediately surrender his 28 firearms (including antique weapons) to Glendale police. Although Mr. Bailey complied with the order, he has all intentions of legally reclaiming all his firearms and then working to amend Arizona law such that a substantial showing of a risk of imminent death or serious physical injury would be required prior to any similar action being taken against any peaceful Arizona citizen.
