I remember hearing Trump say this back then and I was livid.

I never liked him since then.

Now if Trump had added to his statement that Ron Paul was not electable BECAUSE THE ELECTORATE IS TOO DAMNED IGNORANT, then I might have not been so pissed about it.

And even though he said he liked Ron Paul during that statement, we were all tired of hearing people say Ron Paul could not win the election.

In retrospect Trump was correct.

But in the end, it wasn't Trump who caused Dr. Paul not to win...IT WAS THE RNC and GOP CHEATERS, headed by Reince Peiebus and John Boner.
