On Twitter, Donald Trump Jr. Hints At Political Future, Prospective 2024 Presidential Bid
• https://www.thelibertyconservative.comDonald Trump Jr. appears to have hinted at his interest in a political campaign of his own by tweeting out an article by The Guardian on Monday, along with the tagline, "Donald Trump Jr: revered by the right, and building his own political base".
He had separately retweeted the same article earlier that day, suggesting he intends to draw particular attention to this report.
The article touts Donald Trump Jr.'s support from gun rights activists, and suggests that may benefit him in a potential presidential bid.
"America's millions of hunters and shooters adore him on social media and regularly exhort him to run in 2024," The Guardian's David Taylor claims.
"For some observers, he has given the impression ever since he gave an antagonistic speech at the 2016 Republican convention in Cleveland, that he thought he might be the next in line in a great political dynasty," Taylor continues.
Mike Siaperas, a close Donald Trump Jr. confidant is quoted as saying that he believed Trump Jr.'s "goal" is political office.
"From my standpoint, if he ever decided to do that, that would be the most important vote I ever cast in my lifetime," Siaperas continued. "There are a lot of posers on the path to political office; he's not that. He's the real deal."
Donald Trump Jr. is also said to be pursuing a book deal, a common step taken by individuals seeking high office, according to a report by Page Six. Furthermore, has also notably stumped for Republican candidates up and down the country, and raised further eyebrows earlier this month when he hired a political aide, Andrew Surabian, to assist him in this. Surabian had previously served under Steve Bannon at the White House, and subsequently followed Bannon to the Great America Alliance, an unsuccessful political operation that sought to elect candidates who shared Trump's nationalist vision to Congress. The choice of Surabian, a frequent contributor to Breitbart News, indicates Trump Jr.'s desire to closely align his political prospects with the anti-establishment movement that propelled his father to the presidency.
