President Trump  declared victory over the BlackRock-led acquisition of two key ports along the Panama Canal, marking a significant shift in control over a critical international trade route that was controlled by a Hong Kong and Cayman Island-based company. The $23 billion deal transfers control of the Balboa and Cristobal ports to a consortium led by BlackRock, Global Infrastructure Partners, and Terminal Investment Limited. The United States is the canal's largest user, accounting for about 70% of all traffic. Trump is focused on trade and limiting China's position that can restrict global trade flows. BlackRock now has a controlling position that can be abused.

Alex Jones claims that BlackRock has agreed to be directed by President Trump and is in the process of signing over the control over the ports to the United States. He said that the Panama Canal had been signed over to the globalists who used the CIA and NGOs as middlemen, but Trump is taking over the globalist system. Critics are skeptical.

The $23 billion deal, announced by Hong Kong-based CK Hutchison Holdings, transfers control of the Balboa and Cristobal ports to a consortium led by BlackRock, Global Infrastructure Partners, and Terminal Investment Limited.

"Just today, a large American company announced they are buying both ports around the Panama Canal and lots of other things having to do with the Panama Canal and a couple of other canals," Trump said Tuesday, reinforcing his administration's push to curb Chinese influence in global infrastructure projects.

"The Panama Canal was built by Americans for Americans, not for others. But others could use it," he added.
