UN watchdog: Iran failing nuclear obligations after nearly 20 years
• Disclose.TVThe UN nuclear watchdog has reported that Iran is not complying with its nuclear obligations for the first time in 20 years. This comes as sources suggest Israel may consider military action against Iran without U.S. support. Iran maintains it has "always adhered" to the IAEA's safeguard obligations. In response to the UN's ruling, Tehran plans to announce a new enrichment site in a secure location. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly in advanced talks with Iran regarding a diplomatic deal to limit its nuclear program.
Iran is already responding to the IAEA's decision, ordering the replacement of older centrifuges at the Fordow underground facility with more advanced machines. They have also declared that they will launch a new enrichment site "in a secure location."
