Lara Trump Puts Bill Maher in His Place with One Question After the Liberal Asserts President...

• by Cullen Linebarger

While Bill Maher has occasionally demonstrated moments of political sanity over the years, he still lets his TDS shine through far too often. And on the latest occasion, he got smacked down by President Trump's daughter-in-law, Lara Lea Trump.

Maher recently hosted Lara Trump on his podcast "Club Random," which was released today on YouTube. During the episode, they discussed several topics, ranging from cryptocurrency, bank blacklisting, immigration raids, to what Trump is like as a person.

Things got a bit testy when Lara Trump noted how much the corporate media and Deep State have scrutinized her family compared to previous administrations. Maher initially dismissed her claims, saying that Trump was being treated no differently than anyone else, including former President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton.

This caused an agitated Lara Trump to fire back and put Maher in his place with one question: When did you see Obama and Clinton's residences, personal private property, raided by the FBI? She also asked whether they had indictments to put them in jail for the rest of their lives, as Trump did.

Maher ignored the second question, but the first one prompted him to back off his initial assertion somewhat. He agreed raiding Trump's residence, specifically his bathroom, was "a bit over the top."

TRUMP: I promise you this: our family has been scrutinized, attacked under a microscope, I would probably argue more than any family.

MAHER (chuckling): Well, of course, because your father-in-law is the president.

TRUMP: Yeah, but it's not just that he's the president; he's Donald Trump. They've gone after all of us in such an aggressive way.

MAHER: They've gone after everybody. They didn't go after Obama and Clinton in an aggressive way?

TRUMP: Not like this.

MAHER: Oh, please!

TRUMP: Really? When did you see Obama and Clinton's residences, personal private property, raided by the FBI?
