A flurry of golf buggies zipped through Jackson Park on Thursday morning, carrying Chicago's great and good in their finery. Decked out in Derby Day hats and dapper dress suits, they made their way to the opening party for the Obama Presidential Center.

'We're here for hope!' yelled one woman in giant sunglasses as she sped past, waving to the crowd. 'Hope is back!'
