I Filled This Raised Garden Bed With NO SOIL… 2 Years Later
• Self-Sufficient Me - YouTube.comFilling a large raised garden bed with bought soil can be expensive, especially when it's a high-sided bed.
In this video, I revisit my no soil raised garden bed experiment 2 years later and show how I've been filling it for free using organic matter from around my property - compost, garden waste, straw, woodchips, prunings and mulch.
I'll show how much the bed has broken down, how much more fill it still needs, what I'm adding next, and whether this method is a practical way to build a productive raised garden bed without buying soil, topsoil or potting mix.
