Wish List for Saving America from its Problems in 2008

Millions of Americans made New Year's resolutions at the stroke of midnight this week.  We decided to improve ourselves for a better future for our health, wealth and well being.  We decided to lose weight, spend less, save more, stop smoking, give up drinking and be kinder to our spouses, children, family and friends.

Did anyone formulate any resolutions for making our country a better place for its citizens?   I'll bet you did!   Yours may prove more articulate than mine.  If so, by all means, send them to me so I can compile a better wish list for all of us.

As for me –I hope "We-the-People" vote a new president into office – who maintains the highest levels of integrity, honesty and character.  We need a president, unlike the current one, to be free from past or present addictions – someone with a three digit IQ somewhere over 130.  We need a man or woman intelligent enough to lead us out of the major problems facing our nation.  Anyone can readily observe – "good-old-Shrub" made this nation worse with every day in office for the past seven years.  He's done nothing to raise the quality of life or standard-of-living for Americans.  Bush-43 made the USA worse for most Americans.

We must sweep-out the "old paradigm" leaders – new blood needed

I hope nobody votes for the regular group of presidential candidates – because they are the same people who created our current national dilemma.  Instead, vote for Ron Paul or Duncan Hunter – leaders with savvy and common sense – who talk straight, think straght and bring honor to our nation.  If we cross our fingers and vote for Billary, Obama, Romney, McCain, Huckaboo, Biden, Dodd, Edwards and/or any of the rest of that crew – we'll get more of the same, because all of them spout the same rhetoric and actions of the past.   And worse, some of them are two-faced.

U.S. Imperialism is over, at last

I hope the next president stops formulating imperialistic foreign wars based on lies – forcing 'democracy' on third world nations that haven't evolved enough to manifest and capitalize upon such governance.  You should no more force democracy on a tribe of Zulu warriors than force it on an Islamic nation like Iraq.  We need to stop sticking our noses into more than 120 countries in the world.   There is more than enough work that needs doing here in the USA, thank you.

Common goals, common objectives, common language

I hope the next president deletes Exec-Order 13166 and mandates English as our national language.   Schools, documents, media and your phones will all be directed in English – just as is the current International Air Traffic Control System.  Why?   A shared language is THE most important aspect of successful national cohesion.

I hope this nation's citizens ("We-the-People") stand tall to force the next president and Congress to SAFELY vacate Iraq and Afghanistan within six months of office.  Additionally, I hope the next administration pulls-back 572,000 military personnel from around the world on 700 bases in 120 countries – bring those soldiers home to protect the USA.

Better use of 35,000 USA troops (Korean border) – bring them home, guard our borders, starting first with our southern international border.

Multiculturalism fails around the world.  It fails in France, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Great Britain, Switzerland and Germany.  It fails most of all in the United States.

Multiculturalism is a dead and deadly concept.  With enclaves and a plethora of disparate languages, it creates intolerance, violence and inequality.  We must stop forcing incompatible people and cultures onto one another.  On January 1, 2008, Oprah reported, "Over 800,000 U.S. students suffered harassment because of their race."  Why would we continue injecting our country with people from incompatible cultures into our country to create greater intolerance and violence than we already suffer?   This, gentle readers, is a no-brainer.

Ten years to gather our thoughts, and slow down

I hope and pray that we enact a 10 year moratorium on all immigration into our country.  We cannot survive the sheer population explosion created by two to three million immigrants annually.

We cannot save the world, but we can destroy our country.

The USA needs to revert to decent strategic planning

We must, and this is our gravest issue – we MUST discover an alternative energy source to power the cars and engines of the world in a non-polluting and renewable manner.

We must move away from our stealthy creep toward One World Government – that proves as distasteful and illogical as multiculturalism or communism.

We must find out and correct why more than 2.2 million of our citizens sit in prisons.

Our critically important infrastructure is decaying and falling apart.   We must rebuild our bridges and roads in our country – instead of spending $2 billion a week rebuilding Iraq.

We must enhance our educational system instead of stealing brain power and students from other countries.  That in turn, steals leaders and future advancements from other countries.

We must address our $8.7 trillion debt and pay it off.

We must stop our $700 billion annual trade deficit.

We must use our best talent to "grow-our-own" – and stop H-1B, H-2B and L-1 visas that allow millions of our jobs outsourced, insourced and offshored.

We must stop the errant and ill-informed U.S. Congress from destroying our manufacturing base – which destroys our quality of life, jobs and standard of living.

Our family structure is falling apart at the seams.  We must address why, address 'root-cause' and change the family crisis in America's White, Hispanic and African-American cultures – whereby 50 to 60 percent in some groups birth children out of wedlock and 50 to 60 percent of those fail to graduate from high school.

If we fail to slow down, think and work hard at strategic planning, and find the answers to educating our citizens of every race, creed and color – we will not survive the emerging, exploding underclass of ubiquitous poor.

As a fragile republic – we must elect leaders who honor and return to the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law.  Finally, whether you like it or not, believe it or not, or think it's man-made or not – we must seriously consider the impact of the United States upon all peoples and nations riding with us on Spaceship Earth.    Denial  hurts the USA.  We MUST address what's pushing climate change to its ultimate extremes?  Is it true that Earth has a finite carrying capacity?

If so, we MUST work arm-in-arm with ALL nations.  As responsible passengers aboard Spaceship Earth, we must see the handwriting on the wall – and deal with our fallacies to own human numbers adding over 77 million people to the planet annually.

Major CHANGES are mandatory NOW – a "new attitude"

We cannot suffer another imperialistic NAFTA presidency – and/or a narrow-minded Congress mired in scandal and ongoing paralysis – while our kids, and theirs... die in fruitless, immoral and pathetically useless "overseas wars."   Our military exists for our homeland defense and protection, period.  We are NOT the police for the world – just as we are NOT the lifeboat for the unfortunates of the third-world nations who come here for their salvation.

Revitalize politics and elect decent, capable, balanced, pragmatic leaders

I hope and pray we vote every incumbent out of our diseased Congress – because most of them prove more worthless than productive.  They have lost sight of what strategic (long-term) planning is all about – instead seeing themselves as the fire department.

In the movie CHARLIE WILSON's WAR, the brilliant Julia Robert's asked, "How come all you people in Congress mostly don't get anything done most of the time?"

Tom Hanks, playing Congressman Charlie Wilson replied, "Tradition my dear."

Our future, according to Colorado's resident genius Ken Wilbur, depends upon our national awakening regarding artificial thought-boundaries.   We need fresh, energetic new minds that readily understand new-paradigms – and respond to 21st century challenges with 21st century ideas.  How in the heck did we respond so brilliantly to the threat of prior catastrophes – and WHY have we done so terribly on recent catastrophes?   Let's look ahead, and avoid-prevent major issues – rather than wait to be inundated.

Finally, we MUST open our eyes to realize and honor Truth.

I hope and pray that our average, lazy, 50 percent of non-voting and apathetic Americans get off their fat rear ends and vote for a president that leads by example – and Members of Congress who behave likewise – showing awesome awareness of the future – courage, intelligence and passion toward this country, our challenges and ideas for a positive American future.

We MUST immediately author the very best strategic plans in the world, then implement the very best set of time-phased tactical (shorter-range) plans in the world – addressing the;

*      U.S. Carrying Capacity

*      U.S. Optimum Population Balance

*      U.S. education-training "grow-your-own" approach to future worker-skills and talents

*      U.S. Infrastructure Sustainability

*      U.S. Open Space Requirements

*      U.S. Internal Security and Freedom Balance

*      Eliminate silly, altruistic, expensive approaches that don't work won't work, and never did – such as Ebonics, advocacy of multiculturalism, open-borders, etc.

*      Implement gentle U.S. leadership to find and implement new-paradigm approaches to motivate and bootstrap the 30 million unfortunates in the U.S.

*      Increase, by a factor-of-ten, gentle U.S. leadership and open-hearted love-based giving to aid the unfortunates in other nations, there, in their beloved nations – working through existing, successful faith-based organizations – after abolishing the bureaucratic, wasteful, imperialistic "U.S. federal aid" programs and organizations

*      Build awareness of U.S. national gratitude for the many Gifts of  God
