Biometric technology opens new security frontiers

Iris scanners and facial-recognition cameras aren't just for spies anymore. It could become the dominant way for Americans to identify themselves
if Congress moves ahead with efforts to create a biometric
employee-verification system to ensure that only U.S. citizens and legal immigrants get jobs.

Heavily-Armed '90s Militia, Linked To Anti-Obama Activist, Resisted 'New World Order'
08-20-2009
•
Talking Points Memo (that's their real name)
Let's delve a little bit deeper into the black helicopter-infested
world of the Viper Militia -- the 90's era group whose members ended up
in federal prison and whose most prominent friend and defender, Ernest
Hancock, staged the show of arms-bearing at an Obama event Monday.
A portrait of a feckless group of paranoid, right-wing, minimum
wage-earning weapons enthusiasts -- 10 men and two women -- emerges
from press accounts at the time.

Undercover cop taped militia training session, ATF says (1996 Viper Militia redux)
08-20-2009
•
CNN
(Here we go again - WATCH) All of the behind the scenes coverage, court filings, interviews and Truth were accumulated using the Internet (we were way ahead of our time even then). The Viper Reserves was a creation of just a few close friends that archived "everything". Including a 40 million dollar lawsuit that detailed all of the 'antics' of the Justice Department and Janet Napolitano as the prosecuting attorney. Sooooo, should this story be resurrected, much more information will be added to the public's awareness... better this late than never I guess :)
PHOENIX (CNN) -- An undercover policeman witnessed training
sessions involving machine-gun practice and detonation of
improvised explosives by Viper Militia members charged in a
plot to blow up several federal buildings, authorities said
Tuesday.
The undercover officer videotaped at least one of the
sessions as the militia itself shot footage of planning
meetings and a trip during w

Ailing Kennedy asks for speedy replacement process
08-20-2009
•
AP
A cancer-stricken Sen. Ted Kennedy has asked Massachusetts to change state law to allow a speedy replacement. The state changed its succession law in 2004 to require a special
election within 5 months to fill any vacancy. At the time,
legislative Democrats " with a wide majority in both chambers " were
concerned because then-Republican Gov. Mitt Romney had the power to
directly fill any vacancy created as Democratic Sen. John Kerry ran for
president.

Mercury-tainted fish found widely in U.S. streams
08-20-2009
•
Reuters
Scientists have detected mercury contamination in every one of
hundreds of fish sampled from 291 freshwater streams.
More than a quarter of those fish contained concentrations of
mercury exceeding levels set by the Environmental Protection Agency for
the protection of people who eat average amounts of fish, the U.S.
Geological Survey report said.
More than two-thirds exceeded the EPA-set level of concern for fish-eating mammals.

Inglorious Basterds HD - Film Trailer From A3Film.com

YouTube - Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Tarantino's blood-drenched fantasy of Jewish GIs who slaughter the top Nazis, "Inglourious Basterds," dazzled German critics who said Thursday it ripped up the rulebook for World War II films.
Ahead of the film's international release this week, German reviewers

German critics lap up Tarantino's Jewish revenge fantasy

BreitBart.com
Quentin Tarantino's blood-drenched fantasy of Jewish GIs who slaughter the top Nazis, "Inglourious Basterds," dazzled German critics who said Thursday it ripped up the rulebook for World War II films.
Ahead of the film's international release this week, German reviewers
were rapturous over the fictitious squad of Nazi killers who stop the
Holocaust and take brutal revenge, with some calling the picture
"historic" and "important."
Only a handful expressed qualms over Tarantino's trademark
gore-splattering, most relishing the cinematic massacre of the Nazi
brass including Adolf Hitler by a band of Jewish-American soldiers, led by Brad Pitt, as deeply satisfying.
"'Inglourious Basterds' is brazen, a declaration of war, a pleasure," the normally staid Frankfurter Allgemeine daily said.
"Tarantino shows the Nazis as they really were: a pack of pompous trash -- thoroughly trivial bad guy

Impending Bank Holiday - The Collapse of The US Dollar
08-20-2009
•
APFN
This Bank Holiday is no 'Holiday' at all, but one similar to that
engineered by FDR in March, 1933 which finished the collapse of the
World's economy. Another forced “bank holiday” will likely lead to a
formal devaluation of the already broadsided U.S. dollar. But devalue
against what? The euro? Doubtful. Gold? Maybe, but highly doubtful -
or, devalued against the IMF basket of currencies, which is more
likely. When I posed the question of the actual reality of such an
event occurring to several of my sources including those within several
Federal Agencies (CIA, FBI, Attorney Generals office, DHS) I received
the following statement almost verbatim from each and every one of them
- "The way it will come down is that starting 8/24, no later than Labor
Day, groups of banks will be closed in certain regions of the country
for a week or so. They will open again, and then other groups of banks
in different regions will be closed; and on and on it will go, until

Getting ready for the dollar’s fall
08-20-2009
•
Reuters
In a world where once-rock-solid assumptions quickly turn to dust,
investors should keep an eye on the dollar since changing perceptions
are chipping away at its cherished status as currency to the world.
Much of the debate so far this year has centered on creating an
alternative to the U.S. dollar, championed by China and Russia as a way
to wean the world off its dependence on the U.S. as well as buffer
individual nations against the missteps of those in developed world.
Most recognize creating a new currency will take years and the chances
of an existing currency, like the yuan, usurping the dollar anytime
soon are remote.

Totalitarian government, here we come
By Dr. Samuel L. Blumenfeld
8/20/09
•
Johnny 2K
My dictionary defines the adjective totalitarian as "a government or state in which one political party or group maintains complete control under a dictatorship and bans all others." A second definition is given as: "completely authoritarian, autocratic, dictatorial." As a noun, a totalitarian is "a person who favors such a government or state." So we are not quite there yet.
The above definition certainly describes the present communist Chinese government, the North Korean regime, the Iranian Islamic theocracy, the Saudi-Arabian government, the Cuban communist state, and other such governments in Asia and Africa.....

GOP Should Shut Down Senate if Dems Use Procedural Tactic to Ram Health-Care Bill Through, Says Cons
8/20/09

CNS News
Conservative leader Gary Bauer warned Wednesday that Democratic leaders in Congress will try to ram through their unpopular health-care reform plan later this fall, employing a little-used tactic first conceived as a way to maneuver around the budget deficit battles of the 1980s.
“I’m afraid that they (Democratic leaders) will do it because I’m convinced that the people running America are intent on changing America in ways that will not be reversible,” Bauer told CNSNews.com. .....

Obama comes to Phoenix Arizona so does Chris and his AR15 #3
Thomas Costanzo
The Usurper Obama comes to Phoenix
Arizona on 08/16/09. Chris is inspired to come to the demonstration and
exercise His rights of Free Speech, which includes his RIGHT to carry a
loaded AR 15 as well as his loaded Glock 17 a 9 millimeter handgun
around while he is peacefully rallying for the rights of the
individual. He encounters crowds of acorn sponsored astroturf who are
only interested in utilizing the force of government to steal from one
group (the Productive class) to give to the another group (the welfare
class).
There are views of groups chanting for socialism, fascism and
the nanny state welfare vs Freedom, individual rights and
Responsibility. Our hero Chris does a few interviews with those that
insist that when the government STEALS for a "good" cause that somehow
negates the fact they had to steal the money in the first place!

Editorial: Why it’s in the Public Interest for the Fed to be Audited
08-19-2009
•
American Banking News
Ron Paul has been fighting an uphill battle to enlist the aid of his fellow lawmakers to remove the secrecy and hidden actions of the Federal Reserve, which is moving far too autonomously for the public good; confirmed by the outrageous resistance to the audit by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.
What’s great about the process is Americans are getting their first real look at the Federal Reserve and how its actions can impact their lives; they don’t like what they see, and they, at over a 75 percent rate, want to see the Federal Reserve audited and their actions revealed in order to unveil what it is they’re doing with the money under their care.
And why not? So far the outrageous bailouts and guarantees are estimated on the conservative side to be at around $9 trillion. Yes, that’s with a “t.” That works out to be close to 60 percent of the entire U.S. economy. Nobody should have that type of power and influence without close scrutiny by the American people and their repres

Inspired by the success of protests against health care reform, the critics began their fight against the carbon scheme with a rally in Houston, Texas.
Several Right-wing groups opposed to what they see as Mr Obama's tendency towards "big government" are involved in both campaigns, and hope to defeat or emasculate the two central pillars of the president's domestic agenda.

Grassley: FCC Diversity Chief May Stifle Talk Radio
08-19-2009
•
Rick Pedraza
Sen. Charles Grassley is worried that Obama administration’s new federal communications "diversity" director may try to regulate talk radio with a "backdoor" method akin to the Fairness Doctrine.
The Iowa Republican expressed his concerns because of a paper in which Mark Lloyd, the diversity director, alleged a “structural imbalance” in political talk radio and suggested increasing government involvement to regulate it. Lloyd co-authored the paper for the liberal Center for American Progress.
Grassley sent a letter Friday to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski voicing strong disagreement with the idea that government needs to regulate talk radio and arguing that a return to the Fairness Doctrine would end the diversity of views on the airwaves.

Constitutional right to travel within the United States as a Private Citizen.
08-19-2009
I'll make it short and sweet -
I am new to phoenix (been here for 3 or so months), and am enjoying this fine state.
I recently have been filing common law documents to secure my position as a private citizen, able to travel unrestricted as per our right, naturally.
I have filed an Affidavit of Vehicle Ownership, an Affidavit of Revocation of Power of Attorney and Specific Power of Attourney (regarding state/incorporated/statutorial restrictions). I have these documents in the public record in Texas. This means that I am 100% owner of my vehicle, no state has any type of rights or "Liscence" (registration, ect), whereas all "liscences" are deemed voluntary.
I am not required under any constitutional law to possess any state liscence to travel with my vehicle.
For more information about these documents and ect, Please visit the Yahoo Group: RedemptionByMethod
More information can be had there that is very helpful on the subject in understanding o

Forging a New Agenda with China

FROM NEW WORLD ORDER PROMOTER HORRIBLE HENRY!!!!
Chinese officials feel freer than they did previously to offer public and private advice to the United States. China has begun to trade with India, Russia and Brazil in their own currencies. The proposal of the governor of China's central bank to gradually create an alternate reserve currency is another case in point. Many American economists make light of this idea. But it surfaces in so many forums, and China has such a consistent record of pursuing its projects with great patience, that it should be taken seriously. To avoid a gradual drift into adversarial policies, Chinese influence in global economic decision-making needs to be enhanced.
According to conventional wisdom, the world economy will regain its vitality once China consumes more and America consumes less. But as both countries apply that prescription, it will inevitably alter the political framework. As Chinese exports to America decline and China shifts the emph
