Paul Headlines Odd Press Conference

Written by Subject: Eugenics
Congressman Ron Paul's big announcement this morning was, "vote 3rd party."  The big story, though, is the Bob Barr circus elsewhere in the building.

I'll keep watching as bloggers and media weigh in and updating this confusing list of links.

Barr holds his own press conference immediately following.  Barr offers to make Paul his running mate; Root offers to step aside if he'll accept. (Reason's Hit & Run)

Adam Kokesh disses Barr during the second press conference.  Shane Cory (Barr comm director) tells Campaign for Liberty events coordinator Dan Rasmussen to "f**k off". (Independent Political Report)

More as it shakes out...

..........Kokesh explaining what had made him so angry. "Leadership is not just about knowing when to lead, but knowing when to follow," Kokesh said. "You failed that test today and I retract my endorsement of you."

Not as articulate as the speech released by CFL, but really smoked when he got passionate. It leaps around and becomes unfocused at times, but really raises some warnings and predictions. While I do not always agree with Paul on things, we can all be proud of our efforts to advance those aspects of this man that we pushed forward into the limelight. The revolution is making a difference hopefully beyond the 'I told you so stage.' The media will use excerpts of this to disparage Paul...but I think a lot of people waking up to the smoldering ruins of their personal fortune get it.
