This is a working proposal. I'm in touch with various people about implementing the idea, but it's got a little ways to go before it's operationally fleshed-out. It relies on one simple observation: in coming times, the man who has much might need help securing it. And along with this observation comes it's corollary, in coming times, those given access to resources necessary to procure survival will fight to retain it.

So a natural partnership is described. Let those who have land enter into contract with those who require it's produce. The people will secure and uphold the private property rights of the owner.

Now such an arrangement seems viable, but such arrengements might be more complicated in practice than principle. There are multiple considerations which include zoning laws for a property in question, there are issues of sanitation and dwellings to be considered. Land usage and range management are obvious issues. And also, some system of governance becomes necessary. All things in the realm of consideration must be addressed because this is not just an investment, we're talking about human life.

I and some other folks can immediately see the utility and workability of these arrangements, but I want to make two considerations paramount as we talk about it:

1. As I said, we're talking about human life and we're talking about private property rights, two of the most basic foundations of our beliefs. A tragic situation to avoid would be failure, and half way into really hard times, the land owner is suddenly unprotected or the people suddenly thrown out with no place to go.

2. Developing some sort of code of accreditation process to insure these contracts do not become usurpatory seems essential. It's not hard to imagine scenarios of the people strong-arming the property owner and it's not hard to imagine the reverse, the property owner strong-arming the people.

This discussion becomes especially important when we consider the urban counterpart of this idea.

I essence, this is a rural model. We get people to the land to grow food. But it can extend into the urban environments. The scenario here is a patriot couple matched up with an elderly person in a fixed income who might not be able to afford someone to look out for them at home, help keep the bills paid, held keep the house repaired, help keep good food on the table.  This is the "micro miracle level" which would happen in one household. But it's sinister corrolary, that a couple thugs move in on one of our elderlies would be a consequence we can avoid by some sort of quality control process and clearly defined boundaries.

 

Insofar as this implies and "organization", it will ultimately consist of 3 things as I see it so far:

 

1. A core of articulated, real-world objectives.

 

2. A database to match up people with property.

 

3. A quality control/assurance mechanism. If that brings in some kind of accreditation system, fine. We can do it.

 

I currently have all the technical software and web stuff to make that happen no problem.

 

But there you go. I'm officially opening this conversation to discussion and I'm giving first priority to land owners. There will be no shortage of applicants from the people side and they will come with every talent and skill imaginable. The people have all skills. Agriculture, medicine, engineering, mechanics, woodcraft, carpentry, educators, we have it all.

We are busy about developing the kind of framework and quality controls to make this kind of like a franchise thing in a way, but you pay nothing to join and get involved. I can see 2 reasons for a land owner to get in touch:

 

1. We might just save your ass.

 

2. It's the right thing to do.
