Census: Big Brother anxieties could hurt count
• APTo combat people's hesitancy, the bureau will work with local governments and organizations such as churches and community groups to make sure people understand what the census is and that the data won't be shared.
If you don't believe me, you need only ask all those Americans of Japanese descent who experienced U.S. internment camps during WWII or more recently, Arab-American communities that were targeted by Homeland Security forces based upon information provided to them by the U.S. Census Bureau.
I wont even mention all those corporations that have their hands deep in the Census Bureau's data jar. You didn't think the Census Bureau did all that data processing in house did you....
