"Letter to the President" Being Forwarded Around in E-mails
Ed VallejoWhoever wrote it, it is 'hitting a nerve' on both sides of the spectrum - both pro and con.
Whoever wrote it, it is 'hitting a nerve' on both sides of the spectrum - both pro and con.

I fear this letter, while elements of it are true, is a diversion from the mother of all enablers---the Federal Fractional Reserve Central Banking System, with the open collusion of the Congress of the United State's Government; that is not in the interest of the People.
I'm so glad people are putting their real names on these statements - I'm tired of people bitching to high heaven, but signing their diatribes 'anonymous'.
I didn't write the letter, but wish that I had! Obama and congress are out of conrol. We are handing our children a debt and problems that do not deserve. Whoever wrote this is a great American, loves our country and has the guts to stand up for it.
The person who wrote this letter "might not be the GREAT AMERICAN" you think he is!
God, Country, Family correct??
Frank,
Go fire up your generator, touch up your tatoos, shave your head, and clean your gun for target practice!
This is yet another diatribe by an arrogant, ignorant windbag. I see an IRS Audit looming in your future.
Frank Bell ditched his wife and kids in 1977 and has never looked back. He left an emotional train wreck behind and has never taken any responsibility for it, so America, do not take any of his opinions as gospel of your own...you ought to be ashamed to...he has absolutely no credibility when it comes to God, Country or Family!
Personally, I don't care WHO the author of the email in question is. What is important is the content of the email which is true in my opinion. Bottom line is that I, and many people are in complete agreement with it.
As can be seen from most of the comments below, the letter's author does not speak for America. Although I'm a devout Christian, I am appalled that anyone (God forbid a teacher) would assert that our government or country is based on anything that is Judeo-Christian. We are a coutry based on freedoms - including freedom of and from religion. We are not a Christian country, or a Muslim country, or a Jewish country. We encompass all faiths and we proudly defend everyone's right to practice their own religion and be free from the religious opression of others. The so-called "teacher" who wrote the letter needs go back to 6th grade and read the constitution.
I applaude Mr Bell for his letters. He speaks the mindset of many citizens of the United States of America. I do beg to differ with one posted reply. I have read the original texts of many of our framers and founders documents, we sir were founded of Judeo- Christian ethics and principles. Yes we also stood for religious freedom and still do, promoting the expression of worship on many diverse levels and theologies or the right not to attest to any religion. Our founders based most writings on the principles of moral and ethical behavior as well as the laws which followed to hold the line for accountability. I am proud to be an American from the USA. We have strayed way off base in recent years yielding to political correctness, corruption, special interest groups and greed (of power and money) within DC. I never thought I would ever have need to speak out against our state representatives let alone the Commander and Chief of this great nation, but I must. We never were set up to be a nation of entitlements from government but rather a nation built hard work yielding personal autonomy. We are still the greatest nation in the world and with hard work and a loud voice (and votes) of America's citizens, we will stop this progressive-socialist-marxist agenda and rise again as a nation of liberty and freedom.

Kim & Steve:
You should be ashamed of yourselves. You both know better than your comments.
Dad
Ed:
I don't know which Frank Bell you spoke with but I, in fact, did write that letter (and many since then) and still stand by every word in it.
Sincerely,
Frank Bell
John boy. You know nothing at all. Freedom from a government mandated religion is what it says AND only that. As your ridiculous historical ignorance won't help that.
Steve and Kim, Your dad may not of been a great father, but as you can see his writing reflect millions of other Americans true feelings for the way our country is being ran, So look at this way, your father is trying to make it up to you two by trying to make a better future for your kids, Cause Ill tell you this, What he wrote in that letter was Powerful, You have to be extremely intelligent to word a truthful letter such as this one in such a strong way, That it screams at The idiot it was intended for, Im sure when Obama read it, it took the friz out of his hair, and thats what we need ,someone who can get up in our governments face when their doing the wrong thing..... using words cause letters are documents and this letter will be in our history books.
