I don't agree with this at all.

At best it is modelled on the post WWII beliefs about generations and then attempts to extrapolate back to the American Revolutionary war which is a stretch at best.

While the WWII generation were heroic in terms of fighting nazis, they also accepted every big government anti-constitutional socialist change the federal government shoved down our throats, leaving us with the mess we have now.

Furthermore as we try to clean up this mess, it is they and their children who are resisting the change BACK to constitutional republicanism.
